This is by far the best card gaming shop in the Fresno/clovis area! Highly recommend! Everyone is pretty friendly, has knowledge if you are just getting started.

I am definitely a fan of their selection of available gaming accessories. I believe they have more varieties of deck boxes, sleeves, playmats, dice, etc. than any other game store in Fresno. Their game selection though is obviously tailored toward collectible card games(which isn’t a bad thing) with a focus on magic(can you blame them?). Prices are not bad either and though they are not brimming with optimistic customer service, they are definitely nice peeps who are casual about things and provide for a comfortable gaming atmosphere. I enjoy playing here and would do so more often if I didn’t live far. For those who play magic and know the area, I consider them to be well balanced between Crazy Squirrels selection and professionalism, and Collector’s Paradises casual and welcoming atmosphere.

Another long overdue review. After going through Fresno and checking out the few card locations to shop and play, ive weeded out all the crap from the good. Unfortunately this is one of the bad. My first and only visit I came to buy and trade in some cards. I guess they had just moved into a new location and the employee told me so and told me to hold on a minute… as he clicked away on his laptop. A few minutes go by with him talking to some of his friends and he FINALLY turns his attention to me. I show him my binder to trade in and he, in a whining noise, says ok and looks at it. Im sorry if IM trying to give you my business. He takes some cards and asks«so what do you want,» almost arrogant and accusing. Very uncomfortable and awkward. I tell him I want to look around at the showcase and again, another annoyed whine. Jesus. The worst is that while im looking around, the dude is once again talking to his friends! All he does is complain again about how he hates this job and wants to go somewhere else. At that point I had enough and just grab my binder and head out. Poor excuse for a store. PROS: Big and spacious You can breathe! Air conditioned, ahhh CONS: Rude employees Maybe it was just the one employee, but its bad for buissiness and im a first impression kind of guy. On to the next store! So far Collectors Paradise is the go to shop for all your Magic needs
