With the new installation of fiber optics in our area we switched from DirecTv to a bundled package with Endeavor which saves us roughly $ 125 from what we were paying for phone/internet/tv. Concerning the phone, ALL calls to cell phones are long distance which really bites in this age when most people are eliminating their land lines in favor of using just cell phones. No free long distance anymore so when you do want to make a call to a cell phone it’s usually to say«call me back». Our internet connection never rises above«low» and isn’t «screaming fast» like they said it would be. The tv part really sucks. Very few HD channels, even most of the pay channels are not HD. The remote is very bulky in that there are several steps to do anything. You can’t highlight a program and see all the times/channels that a particular show will be on. They eliminated the Style channel in favor of adding Esquire(stupid move). All in all we’re starting to wonder if the money savings is even worth it. The neighbors around us that switched are also unhappy.
