Catch the Wind

This is the guy who used to have businesses in Newport, where I grew up and my mom would take me into his shops that he had filled with beautiful, high quality kites. These things are built tough and they have something for everyone. I wanted a giant, stunt kite but my wife wanted me to get something that the kids would enjoy so we got a cute, turtle kite. This thing is solid and looks great. The owner has been doing this for decades so he knows what he is doing and he does it because you can tell he loves it. I talked to him about his old shops I used to visit as a child and he stood there smiling with pride so you know he does it because he’s passionate. They take care of you there too. The kite I bought was no where near the most expensive in the place yet they made a free tail for it that was like twenty feet long and in the color theme of the kite and the whole time they treated you like you were a guest in their home.

This is our go to place/​guy for all things kite related! Always helpful, good selection, fair prices. Willing and able to modify on site your selection or give advice! Tucked away but easy access!
