Great spot with delicious food and a reasonable price. The home fries are crispy and amazing. Their bloody mary has a big crispy piece of bacon in it. Honestly just a great place for breakfast

They have an inside kids play area! How awesome is that! The grilled cheese selection is amazing! So yummy! Very cool vibe as well.

Delicious food and one of my favorite places to eat, but I won’t be coming back because the service was awkward, and when they gave me my change they gave me 10 $ less than they were supposed to. Good food is not worth being stolen from.

Hey this new place is popping. I’m not a grilled cheese guru but I know what tastes good and these guys know how to do a grilled cheese. Definitely re-​visiting.

There are no words to describe the sheer awesomeness of this restaurant. Second time here and everything is fabulous!!! Bloody Mary’s are the best!!! Most of all the food is so amazing!!! I just wish I found this place sooner!!!

Went for lunch again. If you are local ask for the loyalty lunch card. i just hit the 5 mark so my next lunch is on meg! Place is great .fun vibe. great staff.

I order a medium steak and got an extremely rare piece of meat. The sides were very good and the amount of steak I ate was decent. Either the manager or owner saw that my steak was very underdone and offered to put the steak on back on the grill to cook it up more, but by that point I was pretty much full and turned her down. When I attempted to pay, she had comped the bill and gave me a fully cook steak to go.
The purpose of this story is that I find it rare that someone would show such pride and ownership of their food where that they would go to such lengths. Mistakes happen; it is how they are handled is what really matters. It really goes to show that customer satisfaction is a major priority here. Ultimately, the food and service was really good, so I had already planned on coming back. Mostly because I wanted to try the insane list of grilled cheese sandwiches.
Definitely worth a try, if you haven’t already.

The place to go for grilled cheese! Highly recommend the pulled pork grilled cheese, meatball & ziti, and the mac & cheese wedges. We have been here twice and will be back to try more of the food. Angry orchard on tap to seal the deal! Can’t wait to try more than the grilled cheese!

Cool atmosphere. Staff is beyond friendly. Had the wrong way salad. Excellent! Brunch is popular. Serve a hearty drink. Unique décor. Lots of carved wood tables and chairs. Would recommend a visit to The Wrong Way Café!

Absolutely the best burger in town! Great Mac & Cheese as a side as well. I have never had a bad meal here.

This place did not meet my expectations. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The Burger had no char on it and so was pretty flavorless, it could have used some seasoning prior to cooking as I had to put tons of salt on it. The fries, while not terrible, left something to be desired. (A change of oil?) at $ 10.00 a burger l expected better.

The meatloaf grill cheese was to die for. Little high priced for lunch but worth it. Excellent food& service awesome place… Burgers are best in town

I wasn’t to sure what to expect going here but the inside was really nice and they had such a different menu then your normal bar and grille. Everything on the menu sounded amazing and it was hard to choose. Food did not disappoint! Will definitely be back soon

Both times I’ve gone to this place it’s been great service and I can’t even begin to talk about the food! Amazing burgers and the fries are perfection! A nice addition to the Clinton restaurant scene I highly recommend it!

I was a huge fan of the place that used to be where The Wrong Way Café is now. I think most of Clinton was. So of course it was sad to hear that it was going to no longer be there. I kind of forgot about it as I have not been going out to eat that much recently however when my mother and sister asked if I wanted to go out to eat there I of course jumped at the chance. We love trying new places especially in town.
First off the place was kind of warm. They definitely need to get another air conditioner in there. Of course with the ever changing New England weather they might not need it soon. The temperature in the room will be the only negative thing I say about The Wrong Way Café. They are very newly open so it is still in the «finding itself» phase. I always love trying restaurant when they are in that state. It is interesting seeing where a restaurant started and then seeing where it goes. I know I know… How was the food!!!
We started with an appetizer of blackened chicken with blue cheese and ranch for a dipping sauce. We did wait a little longer than you should for an app but I think we can chalk this up to being new and working out the kinks with the kitchen. Besides who cares how long you wait when food comes out and it is nice and hot and tastes awesome!!! Perfectly seasoned or blackened I should say with the a nice amount of crumbled blue cheese slightly melted from the heat coming off of the blackened chicken. The cut of the chicken was maybe a little on the small side. This is coming from some one with a big mouth and appetite so this may very well be subjective. It was the perfect serving for an appetizer that fed the 3 of us. I should mention that they have a wonderful selection of beers on tap that we could see thru the space in the wall that is cut out. It is always nice to be able to see the entire restaurant from where your sitting. The specials were written on the back wall with chalk and it was in plain site.
We had heard rumor of grilled cheese specials and menu items. I’m a sucker for food trends and who the hell doesn’t love a grilled cheese. Especially when it is filled with super tasty pulled pork and a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. This is what my sister ordered and of course I got a nice bite! It was awesome, filled with pulled pork and cheese and perfectly toasted. It tasted like they seasoned the bread with something before grilling it. Served with a nice helping of FF that were always perfectly seasoned and fried. I hate soggy fries. These were crunchy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside. I would go for a plate of fries and a leinenkugle for sure.
My mother ordered an appetizer special for her entrée. Shrimp Tacos… These were also very good. Three tacos on a soft flour tortilla with sides of lettuce, tomato, salsa and sour cream. I think I saw maybe a hot sauce but I didn’t try that. I did have a bite of the taco and it was very good. I did not get into it so I can’t really say how it was other than the bite I had was good. My mother did add that she wished it had cilantro on the plate for a topping and I always think a couple slices of avocado or guacamole should accompany a taco. That’s just me though.
Finally my entrée… I had to go with the burger… I love a good burger and this was definitely a good ass burger!!! Flavors came out of it that I wasn’t expecting. It had onion lettuce tomato blue cheese and mayo. It was a little over cooked but It didn’t matter. It was delicious. It came with those awesome French Fries and I was more than satisfied. The owner came out and apologized for it being over cooked which she didn’t have to because it was only over a tiny bit and like I said it did not ruin it…
The bill came and it was like 44 bucks and I think that it was all very reasonably priced for what we got and I was so happy with my meal and service that I came home and jumped on Unilocal!
I should mention that our server was really friendly and attentive which really added to the whole experience. I can’t wait to take Jeff there for lunch or dinner. Let’s make it dinner so we can check out those beer taps!!!
