The outside of the building was nice. I do love the fact that red roof Inn welcomes dogs of any size with no charge. When you enter the room I noticed a burn hole on the bedspread. The phone did not work, the latch on the door was broken, and the pop machine was sold out. Well it was only $ 56 so I guess you get what you pay for.

Stayed here a few nights ago. First room had dead bugs, cobwebs, dirty sheets, mouse dropping on the phone receiver cradle, etc. Dirty and dumpy descibes it. Second room was marginally better. At 5:30 pm the breakfast bar had not been wiped up. Would not stay here again!

Only stayed there for a very short time but the room was nice with a kitchenette. Makes me want to stay at Red Roof Inn’s on future trips.

The hotel was a great value for the price. Decent breakfast of waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, and fruit. We had 2 king beds which were soft and comfy. We did have to wipe down a counter top which was a little dirty, and the microwave was in need of a good cleaning as well. We needed a good night’s sleep, a quiet room, and a free breakfast in the morning. This was perfect for us!

To the reviewer 4 years ago. It’s still dirty and dumpy. I had a coupon but it was refused because they expected to fill up because of a winter storm. The beds looked like they were made by a 8 year old in a hurry, and there was dirt and dust everywhere. I was too tired to complain after the days long drive. Mr. And mrs. Clean have never been here. Sleep in your car!

Decided to stay here when we got rained out of our campsite. We called the reservation system and reserved a room for 2 adults, 3 kids and they said it was no problem. Once we got here the night manager tried to charge us more saying that it was too many kids even though the Red Roof website says that kids 17 and under we’re free. He didn’t seem to care. The room was fairly clean except for the bathroom. The shower rod was falling off the wall, the tub drained at a snails pace and the shower curtain had mildew on it. It also looks like they are moving away from tube tv’s in flavor of flat screens because we had both. The flat screen was mounted and plugged it but not hooked up, so we watched the tube tv.

This is the«old» Holiday Inn Express and I agree with Brian C. — it is okay but nothing special. I didn’t know they allowed pets so that’s a plus if you have pets and maybe a minus if you don’t. The«new» Holiday Inn Express is across the road — closer to the Walmart but not in the parking lot. For another $ 10 — $ 15 you can usually get a much better room with much newer furnishings and a GREAT free breakfast. HI Express cinnamon rolls are out of this world.

Since my parents live a few miles from here, the location is pretty good to get to them quickly. The reason I originally chose this location is because they are the only hotel in the immediate area that allows pets. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with the feel you’d expect from any low dollar motor court type motel. Amenities are at a minimum with affordable-line toiletries. I booked a suite for the first time this visit and expected more than just a room with a small half wall and micro-fridge set-up. For the $ 10 difference from the regular room, I certainly would pay that minimal upcharge for the extras. Within a ¼ mile distance, there’s a chicken tenders chain restaurant, four to seven fast food spots, a few mid-grade server service restaurants, a large local convenient store and an enormous Walmart. Beds are firm and comfortable. You have a small desk, too. Definitely a good spot for pet owners.
