Copper Falls

This was a great find! I travel and dine all over the world and this place was a great surprise. Wait staff was excellent, food was well prepared and tasty. We had the all-​u-​can eat fish mixed order, fried and broiled cod. French onion soup was excellent. No room for desert.

LOVE their food. Friday fish fry is a great price and they offer both fried or broiled cod as all-​you-​can-​eat. Their soups are AMAZING — mushroom, french onion, crab chowder — delish! Also really like their prime rib (Saturdays?).
It’s never been busy when we’ve gone. Which is a shame, but it’s good for us because we can be seated immediately and can enjoy a nice quiet dinner.

You could drop this place in a much larger city and it would fit right in.

A customer insisted I meet him here to try the food and I am so glad he did. I really did not expect to find such a superb quality of food in such an isolated place like this. The food is similar to what you would find at one of the finer places in Chicago but instead you are in small town USA.
The staff is very friendly and attentive to making sure you enjoy your dining experience.
Their connected bar has been very tastefully done and reminiscent of what the place might have been like when the building was first built multiple years ago.

My wife and I booked our rehearsal dinner here on a Friday in February 2015. We had a large group and reserved their upstairs room.
I can’t say enough about how much our guests and I enjoyed the night. The food was great and the service was excellent. I talked to Janine often (probably sent her 10+ emails with questions) and she was helpful and kind through everything.
If I could give it more than 5 stars somehow, I would.

First visit for the Friday night fish specials. Ambiance was very nice, pleasingly quiet although the dining room was nearly full. Service was outstanding — our server Cathy was a gem. Food was wonderful. The beer battered cod was served hot, and fresh. The batter was light and crispy. Clearly had not been sitting under a warming lamp waiting to be served. Loved the potato pancakes served with apple sauce. The bruschetta appetizer was excellent, and huge. You could almost make a meal of it with your favorite beverage. Enjoyed everything. Will be back.

We met family here for Fri. nite fish specials & potato pancakes. Everything was EXCELLENT: service, ambiance, cheese-​stuffed mushroom appetizer, entrees, cheddar biscuits, and our beverages. After hearing about a finer dining option in Clinton, WI. My wife and I chose Copper Falls for our anniversary on a Monday Night in early February. Although the wind chill was below zero outside, the atmosphere and the staff provided a lot of warmth.

Forgoing the dining room, we sat in the comfortable high top bar area. enjoyed great wine from our bartender/​server.
My wife and I shared an appetizer — Lobster Quesadilla, I tried the Baked French Onion soup and my wife a salad. side-​note: They can be enjoyed as meal. My wife chose the NY Strip and I had Jumbo Scallops and Prawns on a bed of Campanelle Pasta. We shared a dessert. I took pictures to share on the site, but Unilocal doesn’t allow for posting. I look forward to returning to try other items and checking it out this summer with the new deck. Lunch menu looks good. I live about 25 east of Clinton and will go back again.

While our first visit was on a Friday neither of us ordered the Fish Fry. I had the Jumbo Scallops and Prawns along with the Lobster Bisque soup. The warm bread rolls tasted great with the soft butter.
Unfortunately our main courses came way to soon. We had just started our soups when the entire meal showed up. Not good. A major turn off. As for the food, my meal all tasted great. The soup was flavorful and rich. And the scallops where perfectly prepared. My date ordered the Bone In Filet with Au Gratin potatoes. Unfortunately the filet was too charred on the outside. On the inside it was perfect. But it had a burnt taste from the outside. A great piece of meat was ruined.
We will return again and give the chef another chance.

This place was great!
The Saturday night special was prime rib, which we all ordered. It was done exactly as ordered.
Drinks were tasty and specialty martinis were $ 6 — a reasonable price as we have paid up to $ 11 in other places.
Great décor, great food, great service!
