This is absolutely ridiculous. Twice ive gone here before the closing time at 9 pm. and twice I havent been served because they decided to close much earlier than 9. The first time i got there at 8:30 and watched one of the employees walk out as i drove up to the drive thru, and she yells at me that theyre closed… second time figured id get there around 8:20 considering thats 40 minutes before closing, and as im pulling up the lights in the restaurant are off but the kitchen lights are on, and i see a younger employee staring at my car as im pulling up. Got to the drive thru and again they seemed to be closed. Sat out there for 5 minutes before i said screw it and drove off since nobody else was in the line. Ive worked in the food industry so i understand not wanting to be there super late. But these employees that work the night shift need to be fired! This is absolutely terrible service. I dont get out of work till late so id really appreciate not wasting my time– especially after ive double checked the hours. Will be calling corporate to figure out why these employees cant seem to comprehend what time they actually close. As much as i enjoyed eating here occasionally i have a hard time supporting a place with such bad service.

The roof fell in, only drive-through is open. Don’t know if I want to try it until the roof isn’t all over the restaurant.

Stopped here Sunday while in the area. I liked it, it was good. I was not blown away, but it was as I was expecting. Had the brisket sandwich, liked the bun it was on. Not to keen on their sweet bbq sauce, but it was ok. I would go back if I was ever passing by again. I went thru the drive thru, sign on door said they were having«roof issues» so inside was closed.

Ok. ok. FINE. I will be honest, I DID go back 3 times since swearing it off after my first experience at Dickeys BBQ. Here’s what drew me back(dont judge) — I got some coupons in the mail and figured why not give it another shot. Their green beans are delicious and I could seriously eat just that. However, their brisket sandwich is pretty dang good too. They have waffle fries that are yummy. I gave the updated rating 4 stars because they are still on probation in my book. Oh, the baked beans are not good, save yourself and pass on those. Green beans is where its at.

This particular Dickey’s makes amazing stuff. At other stores the meat is dry, over cooked and they often mess up my order. This story is a model for what the product really should be like at any Dickey’s. The brisket was tender and the sliced chicken breast melted in my mouth. Too bad I live an hour away or I’d be there every week.

I went through the drive thru yesterday and picked up carry out for my husband. The employee working the drive thru was awesome. He was courteous professional and that is so rare that I had to write the review. It was during dinner as well. Between 5pm-6pm My husband said the food was good. He had the plain pulled pork sandwich and onion straws, baked beans and unsweetened tea.

Had a carryout feast from this place recently, and the food was very good! Loved the beef brisket and pulled pork, both were delicious with tender meat and great flavor. The turkey was bland, though(but then, isn’t all turkey?) The spicy cheddar sausage was good, albeit a little greasy. The coleslaw was spot on, but the potato salad was meh. bland. Green beans with bacon were also mediocre. Didn’t try the mac & cheese, but the kids ate it up. Cornbread was tasty and not dry like some cornbread is. Good place for bbq. I’d eat here again.

If you have had quality BBQ you will not be happy. This is barely fast food caliber BBQ. The sides I had were terrible. Mac and cheese was like soup and had no taste. Potato salad was very odd with barely any flavor. The only good side was waffle fries but it’s hard to mess those up. I had BBQ chicken that was edible and pulled pork that was ok but very fatty. There are only 3 sauces to choose from and 2 are the same just varying degrees of spicy. And all the BBQ sauces are thin and runny. There’s no way that it’s worth that it was worth the $ 11.50+tax. There aren’t too many BBQ places around but any of them are better than this. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your money or appetite here.

Stopped in to this spot for lunch. had the 2 meat plate with baked beans and Mac & Cheese. Normally dickeys is pretty good but I guess today was not a great adventure. My chopped brisket and pulled pork both seemed under cooked and my roll was dry and hard. They gave me replacement cornbread but the meal was already ruined. Hopefully the next time the food will be better but for now it wasn’t that good at this location

They do not pay there contractors, We’ve went back and fourth trying to counter there false allegations about this mis communication or that, Well so far we have not got payed yet, There’s always an excuse, If you are especially a local business please do not support these losers, They steal from other local businesses, Not sure about anyone else but we as a local business try to support our community not rip our local community off, like these guys do, Shame on you scum bags at Dickies

Friendly staff very helpful dinning area was clean and well kept I had the Two meat plate with pulled pork and beef brisket meat was a little dry the pulled pork was moist. I am BBQ snob the meat was missing any BBQ or smoker taste thought the BBQ sauce has liquid smoke in it if you are missing the flavor and yes I am being sarcastic. The onion tangles were very good. The best way to put it is Dickey’s is to BBQ as Long John Silver is to sea food.

When they first opened food was awesome. I quickly became an every week customer. But slowly but surely the portion sizes became smaller and smaller, and now prices have gone up. Not worth it anymore. It’s a shame too.

Went to Dickey’s last night on a whim. Upon entering it was really dark inside, I thought maybe because it was early evening and once it got dark outside that would change. Nope, it stayed really dark. Ordering, the menu to us seemed a little confusing so we grabbed a paper menu and ordered from it. We all ordered the Rib Plate. We were offered corn bread instead of the bun and all agreed we wanted corn bread. When paying we were suprised that we were charged more for corn bread. I think that should be told to you when you’re asked, there is no mention of this on the menu. So between three rib plates, three corn bread upgrades and three drinks we were in for over $ 50. Mind you if this was a typical BBQ restaurant I would expect that, this is not. This is nothing short of a fast food BBQ joint. You order in line and take it to your table. Now the food. The ribs were rather small and I received 5 bones. I picked up the first one and the meat never left the plate, bone plucked clean out. I don’t know about other people but I cannot stand ribs that fall off the bone. To me, that’s pulled pork! Why even have the bone? The ribs were nothing to brag about, lacked flavor of any kind other than the sauce they slathered over top of them. We all got the mac n cheese, it was decent but nothing special. We all also got the onion twisters? I think that’s what they were called. Those were actually very good, tasty and crisp! Definitely the best part of the meal. We noticed a «free ice cream» machine with cones next to it. A nice touch however what came out of the«ice cream» machine was hardly ice cream. It tasted like pureed ice with vanilla flavor. Granted it was free but nothing to write home about. Overall the restaurant and food were decent and clean from what I could see because again it was really dark inside. I don’t think I’d personally recommend it to anyone who’s looking specifically for BBQ and for the price and location from us we probably won’t be back. I guess if it’s local to you and you’re in a crunch for time or want quick carry out then it’s a decent alternative from a burger and fries.

Royally overpriced. My husband got the three meat deal and asked for ribs and brisket– doubling on the ribs. He received 2 bones. The coleslaw was also sour tasting. The only thing goos was the processed macaroni :)

Tried Dickeys and loved it the service was great the staff is so nice and friendly. Oh the food is really good. Had the pulled pork and loved it. Will be back. The prices are reasonable you get what you pay for and it is worth it.

Came here for the first time. My daughter wanted ribs and we decided to try this instead of Famous Dave’s. the staff greeted is when we came in the door and were very friendly. They let me try their Spicy Cheddar Sausage. It was good and spicy. my daughter got the rib plate and I got the 3 meat. Ribs were fall off the bone ane tasty. The pulled pork was also good. I like that they serve their sauces warm. I got the green beans with bacon and the baked potato casserole. My daughter got the mac & cheese and Caesar salad. They were all good. My daughter really liked here salad. Good size portions for the price. Nice to have another BBQ place in the vicinity.

I have been to Dickey’s twice. Once we ate in and once we got takeout. The meats are very good. We have tried the ribs, brisket and pulled pork. They are tender, moist and well smoked. The sides are a mixed bag. The onion tanglers which are fantastic crispy salty and delicious, the waffle fries which are good(not great and both times a bit under cooked and under seasoned), the baked beans which are sweet, smokey and tasty, and the mac and cheese which was rather underwhelming. I wish the mac and cheese tasted like real cheese and maybe even had some crusty baked cheese on top. The regular sauce was our favorite and I enjoyed the pickles and onions. The«biscuit» was undoubtedly the one item not worth eating. I’ve tossed it out both times. It tasted like the worst of white bread dinner rolls. Too dense, no flavor. The meats were not quite warm enough both times. The first they were actually cold, the second time more tepid. The taste of the meats were so great we will no doubt continue to get takeout and reheat a bit at home.

So far I have been to this place twice. Once when they first opened and agian after and I must say they have kept it consistent so far. I love the idea of a BBQ sit down fast food style resturant. I had the pulled pork sadwhich and three diffrent bbq sauces on it and I really enjoyed it. The beef brisket was very tender and had a great smoke flavor. I am a sucker for BBQ and this place really hit the spot. I hope that one opens up coser to where I live!

Good meal! Got some carry out, totally worth it. Since bbq places are non-existant around me I was happy to see Dickey’s open. I had seen a few other around, and read the reviews. So glad I tried this place! I ordered the 1 meat meal, got a biscuit, and 2 sides. I ordered the pulled pork with the hot sauce, mac and cheese, and cole slaw based on a fellow Unilocalers recommendation. Great call! Everything is so tastey and filling! The cole slaw is perfect-chopped not shredded which is a superior texture. The mac and cheese was so creamy and had a distinct real cheese flavor. I wanted so much more of it. I used my biscuit to sop up the cheese when it was all gone. Mmm cheese… The pulled pork was very tender and juicy. The hot sauce is hot. Thank you Dickey’s! I love hot sauce, so when its not hot it makes me sad. There are red pepper flakes in it and it had just enough heat to give you the kick you really want. I only finished half and I am really full. I will be happy to have the rest tomorrow… .and I don’t usually do leftovers. Overall, for what I guess you could call a fast food bbq place well done! I will happily return for the signature big yellow cup of beverage and the free ice cream!
