Love this store, great pizza and convenience. I find some of the employees to be a little less welcoming than I would like, but most of them are pretty good.

It’s very hard not to get a slice of pizza when you stop in. They ALWAYS have them available, and they are ALWAYS delicious. Good selection of beer, nice variety of jerky links, decent booze selection. The pizza is the reason I end up there from time to time, bc you can get all the other things almost anywhere.

The pizza here is awesome, and the amount of items for sale is great. You can leave with chips, pizza and a lot of beer at a reasonable price. The employees are pretty cool and cracking jokes and treat you well. The lady and I were pretty hungover one Sunday and they made us a great pizza at 11:30 in the morning. Picked us right up! The place is a gem in Michigan and should be supported as a home-grown brand.

Being raised & fed on Buscemi’s most of my life, to even back in the day when there were only 2 locations Gratiot Avenue East Detroit & Roseville, this location on Garfield &19 truly is my favorite. Why? Consistently good selection & product, especially the hot steak calzones for $ 4 Another bus driver & I were down the street at MCC& only had 90 minutes to spare & he was open to anything, and when he mentioned at 55 years old he HADNEVERATEAT Buscemi’s, well we had to go now! We each got the Steak & cheese calzone &2⁄20 ounce cokes. $ 12.22 They were both piping hot & fresh out of the oven, with nice little brown bottoms & lightly brushed in butter? & stocked with a generous supply of tender steak. Terry was amazed at his first Buscemi’s sandwich, I encouraged him to eventualy try the hot Italian & the pizza roll.

Pizza, liqueur and lottery. It’s a one stop shop! Seriously though, the pizza is amazing. They always have slices or will make you an entire pie if you want to wait. They have liqueur of course but I always notice the beer selection. Everyone these days has a pretty basic selection of craft bottles. Bucemi’s is no exception. It could be larger but it is not bad. The employees are always nice and friendly.

Cant believe nobody has Unilocaled this location yet. Anyway, this store is probably my favorite out of all the Buscemi’s in Metro Detroit. Its just head-and-shoulders above all the others IMO. The square Detroit-style pizza is just AMAZING. They sell it by the slice like hot cakes, and it never sits under that heat lamp for more than like twenty minutes before its gone. I’ve been known to wait there for more if they run out. The crust seems to be crispier, the sauce tangier, and the cheese more plentiful over there than all the other spots they have(actually, I’m pretty sure half of them are franchised to Chaldean liquor store guys nowadays). The liquor prices are standard, smokes might be a little on the high side, and they only have one register(so it tends to get backed up sometimes), but all-in-all its a great store.
