I love this local, husband and wife coffee shop. It is small and cozy and the coffee is great as is the conversations with the owners. They make the coffee as you request and also have almond and soy milk available upon request.

I went to this café with my dad last week and we both loved it. He got a drink called the Vietnamese and i got a Caramel Iced Coffee with extra caramel and whpped cream. It was very good quality coffee and they have a loyalty card system: Buy 10 coffees get the 11th free. Prices are good, its right down the road form emapnada girll to so its always good to make 2 stops!

Wanted to change my rating to 5 stars after coming back here a few more times. The iced café con miel resulted in an espressogasm, really tasty. The imported croissants are DELICIOUS. Been searching for the perfect buttery, soft, flaky croissant similar to one I had in Amsterdam last year, but all search efforts have been futile… until I tried a croissant here. This croissant has ruined me for all other croissants. The lady owner is very friendly and willing to explain anything on the menu. This place is now my staple for coffee and pastries, so glad it’s closeby!

My husband is born and raised in Paris and he said their French imported croissants and chocolate croissants can’t be beat. He said it was like being back home! I had he smoked salmon sandwich with lettuce, olive oil, and fresh lemon juice on a REAL French baguette and it was scrumptious. Their array of coffee choices is wonderful. We will definitely be back!

They brew La Columbe beans and it was absolutely delicious! And the owner was very sweet and brewed me a fresh cup of half decaf. Can’t wait to go back

Husband and wife owned coffee shop with delicious French pastries. I had mentioned to my sister that I was tired of going to the same Starbucks to have a cup of coffee and work on my laptop. She recommended I try this place. I happen to be home during a weekday afternoon and decided to check it out, she jumped at the opportunity to come along. The location from outside is very inviting and inside you know you are in for a treat(or several). The coffee was delicious and they were very helpful with recommendations and describing the difference between café bonbon and Vietnamese coffee. The macaroons and coconut coffee cake were delightful. We’ll definitely be making a trip back. If you are in the mood for great coffee while you read a book or check emails or if you need a date idea this place is one you should check out!

Great atmosphere and service. Try the Vietnamese coffee, you won’t be disappointed. It sounds exotic but has familiar ingredients(coffee, espresso & condensed milk). Almost like a Spanish Latte.

Really adorable shop with a great café culture vibe. Sandy is so personal and knows nearly all her customers by name. The menu offers a lot of variations(Cuban coffee, Vietnamese coffee, caffe con miel etc) and the pastries are also delicious. Ask them to warm up an almond triangle for you, so flaky and delicious! Just don’t expect a quick in and out experience. They take their time to craft you a perfect cup AND get to know you, making the whole experience really lovely !

I love love love this place. I was there recently with my wife and she loved it too! Nice cup of coffee and some delicious pastries. The guy behind the counter is super nice and so is his wife — I wish the seating area was a little bigger but being that warm weather is around the corner, I can have my stuff to go. Will be back.

Went to this café last weekend for the first time since I was in Clifton visiting friends. The owners are so friendly and humorous. The place is clean, chic and have a nice ambience inspired in Paris, France. If you want to have a nice time talking to a friend or reading a book, and you are in the area you should go. The sandwiches are delicious, and the beverages too. I’m not a coffee person so I had a hot chocolate instead, it was just as I wanted it. Also, when you are there ask them to know the story behind the name of the café, it’s pretty interesting and cute.

Quaint Coffee shop. Who knew one can have a good coffee place in Clifton. The owners are very friendly. The atmosphere is like one is in a café in France. Their coffee is ofcourse great. They also have light sandwiches. Simple but nice. Just like being in Paris.

Both the owner and his wife are great people and trying to bring something different to Clifton. They have chocolate croissants, almond croissants, specialty cakes, macarons and more with their excellent coffee. I gave them a sample of a few of my products and received great feedback from other customers. I’m happy not just cause they are deciding to use my homemade sauce but because as a chef and local, I support any company willing to work hard to overcome the pressure of big corporations. I hope more people come to this coffee shop and see how great it is and what new sauces or jams might be used in the future. Check it out! Instagram: @charliebspecialties

There’s a lot of coffee around, its ubiquitous, I’m not telling you anything you don’t know. But there is something I discovered today. A fantastic little coffee and sandwich shop that prides themselves in serving the best coffee I have ever tasted. You know when you meet business owners that really take their quality seriously! This is that place. I’m just writing this because with their quality and personality, I selfishly want them to survive because I absolutely love the coffee. If people don’t come in, I’ll lose this great place. Just a heads up. You’ll have to trust what I’m writing to get you to come in the first time but I guarantee the only trust you’ll need after the first visit is to trust your own taste buds.

My hubby and I came here 2 days in a row for coffee. I love the Caramel Macchiato. It doesnt compare to Starbucks. A small is $ 3.50 and large is $ 4.00. Give it a try, you won’t get disappointed. Also, the service is very friendly! Place is nice and clean with a few tables with free wi-fi! They also have different pastries to choose from… and I got lucky with a special on Friday the 13th which is a banana walnut for .99 cents with a purchase of a coffee. YAYME!

So, I originally wrote this review under Central Coffee Bar before realizing they changed the name. Under new management, but the same great coffee and atmosphere. Laurent, the new owner is extremely friendly and welcoming.
