Giovanni’s Grill & Pizza

This store needs to be removed from Unilocal because it is no longer open. The most recent management were not bad, and their food was okay, not great. The big problem with this place was their pest infestation! I remember the last time ordering a pie from here and seeing a rat running down and under the fridge. That image would stay in my mind and I would never order from here after that. The last owner was from Greece and was kind and polite man. On the other hand, that does not make up for the lacking in quality of the food. In the end, the food was not worth the high prices they’ve indicated either. $ 14 for a greasy burnt pie, no thank you. I will be taking my funds to a more deserving pizza store.

My go-​to place for pizza in Clifton. I’ve only ever ordered the pizza at Giovanni’s, and I usually go pick it up rather than have it delivered, but I’ve never been disappointed with the pizza, and it’s certainly better than some of their local competitors. The woman who usually takes the orders is very pleasant to deal with. I did have a slight customer service issue with the owner once. He was a bit gruff about a misunderstanding over a coupon, but ultimately it was resolved ok. But he was a bit hasty to want to get pretty darn defensive. All-​in-​all, I would definitely recommend them though.

Had a few good experiences and one bad one. Must order the fat cat and fried mushrooms. Pizzas are fresh. When ordering for delivery, make sure to ask to read back order or else you’re left with one less fat cat and would have to drive to the restaurant and order it.

Honestly have to say the best pizza and sandwiches for a pizzeria in Clifton. The reason I’m a regular is for the chicken cutlets. They make em perfectly right and the price is nice too. Another special here is the fat cat and skinny cat both delicious sandwiches which you wont regret eating.
