We frequent the strip mall where Top My Pizza us located in Clifton Park and we always comment that the biggest square feet of restaurant is always empty. So we decided to go last Friday when every other restaurant in town is an hour wait. We were the second family in the restaurant. There was no menu on the wall and only 1 paper copy that we shared with the family ahead of us. The front-end staff of 4 appeared to be brand new employees as they repeatedly asked each other questions on food items and procedures. Our pizza — BBQ — was mediocre as best and took a long time from done(on counter) to delivered to our table. Perhaps the reason for delay was that another family had walked in causing an uproar of staff-to-staff questions and little action on existing customers. We were disappointed with the service and the quality and taste of the pizza. We will not return but continue to view the large empty space with few customers.

I’ve been to Top My Pizza(TMP) twice for takeout in the past couple months since I’ve been using BOGO coupons for the Personal Cheese &3 Pizzas. The pizzas I’ve ordered from TMP have been very tasty and baked right each time. The prices are very reasonable too! They offer around 45 toppings to choose from, all in plain view behind the long glass counter in the open kitchen area. Each time I’ve been here, it took me a few moments to be creative with the extensive topping choices for my pizzas. They no longer offer tofu anymore as a choice. Also, the adjacent dining room has ample self serve table seating. On a recent visit to TMP, I ordered two Personal(9″) Cheese &3 Pizzas($ 5.88 plus tax), one topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, Italian sausage, & breaded eggplant and the second pizza topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, roasted corn salsa, pulled pork, & breaded BBQ chicken, both on top of a traditional crust. I watched my pizzas being made quickly and sent through a pizza belt oven, as I waited. The pizzas were topped with the right amounts of each topping with the good flavors that I chose and the thin crust was firm and slightly chewy. I will keep returning to TMP since I enjoy being creative with the toppings on my pizzas. The service here is friendly and prompt and also informative(on my recent visits, they ran out of artichoke hearts, an initial topping choice).

I have NOIDEA what a lot of other people are referring to with their negative comments but, i LOVE this place! The prices are fair and you can get a TON of toppings and our pizza was made in about 5 minutes. The help was SO nice and even gave us 2 complimentary canolis =] If you like having the authority to make your own pizza with tons of toppings like me, you will love this place. Im VERY health conscious and the servings, topping choices(including different cheeses and gluten free stuff), etc, are great! PLUS they don’t dump oil on the pan before cooking. just a light spray. HIGHLY recommended.

The pizza is average, but the concept of this place makes for a very kid-friendly experience. Everyone can get a custom ordered pizza of their own. Just as with Subway and Moe’s Southwest Grill, you get exactly what you want and can view the ingredients. I wouldn’t choose this place on my own, but with kids, it’s a winner.

We’ve eaten there and gotten a pizza delivered. I’m planning to order from there again tonight. Yes, there are a ton of pizza places to choose from in Clifton Park. This place is good though. I like the selection of toppings and the pizza is good. It’s also been consistent for us which I don’t always find from other pizza places around here. I thought the garlic bread was okay and a bit dry but it was affordable and plentiful so it wasn’t a bad deal. I also like the restaurant because last time I placed an order for delivery it arrived quickly and accurately and with a free piece of lemon cake(which was delicious!!). When I asked about it the driver/person I talked to when I ordered he said I sounded like I had a cold and he thought the cake would help. Now, I’m not always swayed by free things but when the free thing is this good I am a happy camper. The attention to detail has won me over. The service has been friendly and though it’s not the fastest I’ve ever har, it’s reasonable and seems to be getting quicker as they have been open longer. Try it, you’ll like it :)

Pretty good. Sauce was tasty. Nice that a family of five could each get their favorite pizza. A little pricey, but tastes better than most pizza that I’ve had in the area. This place is a keeper.

Waited for over 30 minutes for mediocre pizzas. The order was wrong so by the time we got our pizza the kids were done. There was only one guy making the pizza and he was spending most of his time chatting with the cashier. Very disorganized. WW crust was pretty good. Probably won’t be going back

I’ll start by saying that I will be back to give TMP another try. BUT, The first thing you need to know is they DON’T DOSLICES; so you need to order and wait for a Personal Pizza. That’s OK, as long as you know it. We can get slices with«my choice of toppings» all over Clifton Park. Strengths…from my perspective, I like Whole Wheat, so TMP gets a thumbs up! In fact, their WW is excellent.(the only other place in CP that I know of that has WW is Parma Italia on Rt. 9). I ordered my pizza with sauce(you choose sauce you want), and Eggplant Topping. «sorry, we’re out of eggplant» was the reply. HOWDISAPPOINTING! I brought home leftovers and my wife loved the WW dough…(she didn’t have the disappointment of not getting the topping she wanted as I did) I’ll definitely go back when the weather gets nicer as they have a great outside eating area.

The service was okay, they did try to put on a smile. The pizza was delivered promptly and they did have many choices when it came to the toppings. The pizza though is terribly oily. The grease was so bad it soaked through the flimsy paper plate it was put on through a napkin underneath that and onto the table. We could not eat more than a slice without an upset stomach. This is the second time we have tried this restaurant, gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time for being new. First time had to return the pizza as it was inedible but told them we would return to give them another try. Just as unhappy the second time. They do have several toppings but only put the bare minimum on the pizza. The dining area(cafeteria style) is surrounded in glass and very cold on a winters night. Overall not a good experience.

I’ve searched the internet for a franchise called«Top My Pizza» and couldn’t find one. I did this because the Top My Pizza in Clifton Park seems like it is part of a corporate chain. That might also explain why the web page is only parked at this point in time. I can tell you that I ordered a personal size pizza called«The Don»($ 7.99), but I can’t recall for sure the toppings that were on it. That is why it would be helpful to have an online menu since I forgot to grab a take-out menu. As others have said, you have a choice of three different crusts as you select from the pre-designed combinations or build your own pizza. I chose the«traditional» crust. I believe The Don came with tomato sauce, ricotta, meatballs, caramelized onions, and basil. I’m guessing the meat was meatballs because it didn’t taste like sausage. I know it came with basil because I didn’t remember that I should have tasted it until I got to the last slice and then it was deliciously apparent. Something tasted noticeably sweet, I couldn’t tell if it was the sauce or the onions. The crusts are nothing special. They are thin, lack character, and appear to be mass produced. After the dough is rolled out into a very perfect looking circle, small pin holes are pricked into the dough, I believe to prevent the dough from bubbling up during the baking process. This was most noticeable on my wife’s personal size pizza since the sauce didn’t go far enough out to the edges of the crust to hide the pin pricks. She chose to «build her own» combination of toppings($ 7.99) on a whole wheat crust. She asked for«Fresh Mozzarella» and«Prosciutto» but was told during the check-out that she needed to choose two more toppings. That seemed strange, but she cooperated and added Spinach Leaves and Green Peppers. As I already said, the pizzas lacked character. They seemed so uniform in their making that they could have been made by robots. Staff were friendly, however, and there certainly were a lot of toppings to choose from. The dining area is clean but sparse and separated by a wall from where the topping display cases are located and where you order your pizza. The day we were there the thermostat in the dining room was reading 78 degrees and thus felt quite warm. Upon examining the thermostat I concluded that the dining room with its west and south facing wall of windows had benefited from solar gain as the sun was setting. The thermostat was set for a much cooler temperature. There are at least two large screen TVs tuned to cable stations but the sound is turned off since they are playing music over their sound system. With so many other places for pizza that I’ve enjoyed much more, I doubt we’ll be returning. The service is quick though for those who may be on a short lunch break. We had ours within 7 or 8 minutes from the time we ordered.

Meh. That meh is also coming from the least picky pizza person you could ever meet. If it has cheese, sauce and dough count me in. I was secretly hoping with the name«Top My Pizza» they would have hearts of palm. Hearts of palm, olive oil, garlic and basil. That’s what my dream pizza is made of. Much to my dismay they didn’t have hearts of palm. Surprised? no. Sad face? yes. (Anyone know where I can get such a thing around here?) I’ll skip to the end because even this review is boring me. + They have 3 different crusts(Regular, Wheat and Gluten Free) They do have a lot of toppings(green olives, yay.) It’s pizza - The pizza was okay, nothing special even with the fun toppings. Weird dance music Cold dining room(In both the temperature and the ambiance) under-eager staff. I’m sooo bored of this review.

I work close by to Top My Pizza and so I’ve been waiting for this place to open for some time since I see it every time I go out for lunch. Now that I’ve had a chance to try it out, I can honestly say that TMP has some awesome pizza… and there’s a few reasons why: 1. It’s COMPLETELY customizable I know what you’re thinking… I can customize my pizza anywhere, just ask for pepperoni and green peppers. Done. But not so fast. Yes you can customize your toppings, however those toppings are practically infinite. Anything you can imagine on a pizza is available. You can also choose regular crust or whole wheat. You can choose what kind of SAUCE to put on there. You can customize large and small/personal pizzas. You can customize the cheese. Practically anything you want, you can have it! 2. Delicious specialty pizzas Can’t decide what you want, but don’t want your typical cheese and pepperoni? Try their sausage, onion and potato spud pizza with ranch sauce(instead of pizza sauce). It’s delicious. They’ve put some thought into their combos. 3. Very fair pricing Ok, so you’re not getting a pizza for a dollar or anything. But for the price, you’re getting some really good pizza and the freedom to get whatever you’re craving on top. When I heard about it opening, I had some high hopes for it considering the number of cookie-cutter pizza shops around Clifton Park. But I am thoroughly satisfied. Would definitely recommend it. But don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself!

I went with 3 of my friends, all of us enjoying 4 different types of individual pizza(loved the thin crust). There are so many topping to choose from you may want to plan extra time to make the difficult decision of what delights you the most. Also enjoyed delicious garlic bread and yummy mini cannolis. The staff is fantastic. I cant wait to return and try some new toppings.

My 3rd grader came home from school with«word has it» Top My Pizza is now open! The first thing I did was search Unilocal for a review… I found the one listed by Kathleen O. So with that sour review we were hesitant to visit TMP, boy am I glad we decided to venture over ourselves. We ordered the kiddie pizza(6″, cheese &1 topping, drink & cookie) for $ 3.99, and garlic cheese bread($?). My daughter & I ate for $ 13 dollars, I was sold on TMP already! Not only are the affordable prices a reason to keep coming back but the pizza was delicious… cooked exactly the way I wanted with the toppings of my choice! I asked for extra crispy crust and that’s what I received. The garlic cheese bread was also very tasty, a meal in itself! And if that wasn’t enough, the service(insert a chorus of hallelujah’s) was impeccable from the moment we walked in to the second we exited! We were acknowledged with eye contact, happy smiles and genuine, authentic old school customer service. **This same evening, I told my son(the 3rd grader) about our experience at TMP. He insisted I take him to critique the pizza himself. We drove over to TMP and to our surprise we were recognized by the same friendly staffers and treated to cannoli’s on the house! Now that’s five star service! Good food & service is «tops» at Top My Pizza, we’ll definitely be back!

TERRIBLE! The worst cafeteria type pizza I’ve ever paid for, outside a school cafeteria. Don’t waste your money, inedible!
