I just ordered Baked Ziti, Chicken Fingers, Garlic Knots and a French Dip Sub. Absolutely fantastic! Very delicious and fresh. The food was delivered in a very timely manner. I highly recommend this pizzeria.

subs: While I’ve only had roast beef subs from there they are very good. It’s real deli roast beef and not smoke/garlic injected stuff that is mass produced. Pizza: Very good also. Well made and very consistent. Even the colossal pizza is consistently good and cooked evenly which from my experience at other places who do larger sized pie’s is hard to do. Order time: If you order during peak hours add a minimum of 45 minutes to whatever you’re told. Actually, even during non peak times I tend to add 45 minutes also. It’s my only real criticism, but I account for that now so I don’t get annoyed anymore.

I’ve lived here for 10 years and go to this place a lot. It has deteriorated to the point of nausea. It is now run by high schoolers and dropouts. Food never done on time. EVER. Try somewhere else that cares.

This is our go-to take out and delivery place in Halfmoon. Beware their delivery times are dlow but food is consistent and tastes good. Love the loaded tater tots and their subs are ginormous. A large one easily feeds two.

I have been ordering pizza from Cusatos for two years. In the past few months both the quality of food as well as delivery time has deteriorated. The last time I ordered hot wings and they tasted solely like ketchup. Tonight I ordered a large pizza and garlic knots and was quoted 45 minutes to 1 hour of delivery time. Food is still not here an hour and and 45 minutes later. This is the last time I will give them my business!

I have always loved this place and have recommended it on so many occasions but I have noticed the last few times we ordered the delivery was long and food got cold but I still loved them until tonight it’s a Thursday and we were told about an hour and when it was a little past an hour I called and got a very rude tone women on the phone who didn’t care that I was telling her its been over an hour and responds with he is on his way right now which was clearly not true. Please keep in mind Cusatos is less than 10minutes away from my house. An hour and a half later I called back and got excuses and I will never go back there and they have also lost everyone I got to switch over to them. To add to it when it finally got here the food was luke warm my fiancé’s burger was a mess and he bit into a tiny bone from the ground beef so gross

I love pizza — my favorite food. I have eaten pizza from every place in Clifton Park and this is the best in Town(Clifton Park/Halfmoon). My go to place for mortadella as well.

I go on my lunch break all the time and will continue. People are friendly and the small young girl behind the counter seems to know what she’s doing more than most. Food is always good the place itself could use a little renovation.

I would not recommend this place for delivery. It probably wouldn’t be my first choice for dine-in either based on the quality of the food. I haven’t tried a pizza so maybe that’s their saving grace. The first issue I had was that they didn’t tell me the price when I placed the order. I didn’t really care so I didn’t ask or call back. However… when the delivery driver got here they also didn’t know what I was supposed to pay and had to call back to the store for the price. We got an order of fries and an order of onion rings. I’m pretty sure they dumped both of those straight from the frier into the styrofoam container because they melted the containers they were in. It was great that these were so hot because the rest of the food was room temperature at best. I also had a «hot» sub and the bread was pretty stale.

I recently moved to Clifton Park and have been looking for a go to pizza place. I have now ordered delivery from there a few times and the pizza has always been great. I don’t order much besides a pepperoni pizza and wings occasionally but both have been good. The only negative about Cusatos is the delivery time. This is probably my 4th delivery order from there and it always takes over an hour for delivery. Food is good but if you are hungry I would suggest picking it up.

Just got my first pizza from this restaurant. I don’t mind a bit of grease on a pizza as long as it’s tasty, and the pizza looked great, so I was excited. When I picked up a slice to bite it, the cheese and toppings slid right off and I was left holding a floppy, soggy, oil-soaked piece of dough. I lifted up a few other slices and they started falling apart. I guess the dough couldnt support all that grease. I never leave reviews, but this was one of my worst pizza experiences anywhere.

Cusato’s pizza reminds of the pizza that you liked as a kid. The cheese is really fake and sweet, and so is the sauce. You feel bad after eating this pizza. I give it 2 stars because the crust is good.

I have eaten at Cusato’s twice now. Each time i have gotten the Colossal(26 Inch) pizza for carry out. This pizza feeds 5 adults and is priced very reasonably. The pizza is very good, thin but not crispy, huge slices that you have to fold(like your supposed to) the meatball topping is very good. And last time we asked if there was a special we got free loaded tater tots. Be aware if your going for pickup, the 26 inch may not actually fit in your car flat. I had to sit it in the front seat and hold onto the edge because it hung so far over the seat.

I’d give this 3.5 stars if I could. The pizza is very good and the prices are very fair. I’m not crazy about their garlic knots; I found them sort of bland and there was no sauce with them. However, the rest of my experience more than cancelled that out.

After I ate a slice of Cusato’s pizza… I was eating the words of my previous review I had given them. I usually don’t stray from my own homemade hand-tossed doughy pizza. However, after a personal invite from one of the owners, I was eager to give Cusato’s another chance. Cusato’s dough was fresh, light, and subtly sweet… putting my homemade recipe to shame. I opted for their Hawaiian pizza. The pie arrived picture perfect. The cheese had a slight browning, crust was bubbled, and pools of grease were absent. The sweet/salty combination was harmonious and tasty! The restaurant is consistently spotless and the staff is super friendly. Sign me up for your loyalty program… ci vediamo presto!

Okay… lets start with the pluses. The price is very competitive with the competition. I think the amount of food you get for the price is better than most in the area. Another HUGE plus is that they deliver. I have two small kids and a working husband, so being able to order dinner for when he arrives is really nice. The food is as good as any upstate pizza place.(this coming from someone who lived in NYC) Now for the cons. Delivery time. As I write this — literally — I have been waiting 1 hr and 49 mins for an order of baked ziti, a pastrami salad and popcorn shrimp. I asked for it to be ordered asap. It’s a Tuesday night at 8:42pm — not what I would call high volume time. If you want delivery and not in a rush — this is a good choice. Otherwise — not a good option! UPDATE: The 2 hr wait I spoke about above NEVER came! We called the restaurant and they said they never received it. ??? We agreed that they would deliver the order the following night. Well… they came… but two items were missing! Talk about bad business. As much as the food is completely acceptable, the service is not. Update: January 14, 2013 New owners! Yay! I received an email from the new owner asking for a second chance. I placed an order via Mealeo and waited. Not only did my order arrive on time but also hot. My husband raved about the meatball sub.(No onions or peppers — huge plus for him!) This place may be a new hidden gem! Update: May 8, 2013 Back to the same old crap. I placed an order via Mealeo at 3:38pm for a 6:30pm delivery. A small pizza and two subs. It’s 6:43pm and they aren’t here. It’s a Wednesday. My three kids are starving. I am annoyed.

Cusato’s is new in Clifton Park, so we decided to give them a try for our first NFL party of the season. We ordered 2 pizzas, a dozen wings, and a 2 liter bottle of soda — which was part of their combo deal. I was happy to see that they accepted credit cards over the phone for the order, and that they deliver to almost everywhere in the Clifton Park /Halfmoon /Rexford area. This is one area where a lot of places are lacking, so +1 for Cusato’s. That positive note was(not so) quickly dispelled by the delivery time, however. They quoted 45 minutes to an hour, but the actual time was almost an hour and 45 minutes. That’s a pretty long wait for a delivery. Still it was the first NFL Sunday, and the place is new, so perhaps this will improve as time goes on. On the bright side, the pizza was still warm — not really hot, but at least warm — when it arrived. The big disappointment was the food itself, however. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t great either. It just … was. The pizza was rather bland. The best way I can describe it would be to say that it was on par with Dominos or Little Ceasar’s. Nondescript. If it was around, you would eat it, but you wouldn’t say«We’re definitely getting this again!» The same was true with the wings. We ordered them medium, and they come with a red-ish brown sauce that was generously applied. The requisite celery sticks and blue cheese were also in the carton, though it was probably the smallest serving of blue cheese I’ve ever seen. Enough for 1 or 2 wings if you dunk them. The flavor on the wings was okay, but again, it wasn’t anything memorable. Just some butter, red hot and vinegar. Bottom Line: The food was okay. A bit pricey, but the free delivery helps offset the sticker shock. I don’t regret the purchase, but I doubt we’ll order from there again. Too many other choices in town that are better.
