Service down the tube. We live down the street and just came home from vacation. After air travel we decided to order for delivery. Quoted 45 minutes and after an hour no delivery. We called and were told«soon». At 1.5 hours we tried again only to get voicemail several times. We then cancelled order via voicemail. At 2.5 hours they showed up and we refused delivery. Really? 2,5 hours? WELIKEDUOURFOODBUTYOULOST A CUSTOMER. YOURLACKOFSERVICEIS A CALAMITY. keep it up and you will be gone in 3 – 6 months

Definitely be prepared for Indochinese fusion, and absolutely do not mistake this place for your typical Americanized-Asian restaurant. The flavors and spices are intense and deep– I underestimated their heat myself, but it was still delicious! They deliver and are very friendly, with fairly large portion sizes and reasonable prices. Do a bit of research/don’t be afraid to ask questions, I don’t expect most people in the area have ever had anything like Szechaun Mirchi before!

Excellent service, small but neat and cozy place. Owner and wait staff were very friendly and hospitable. We had the Paneer Chilly dry, Veg Manchurian dry, Okra in pepper dry, Schezhuan fried rice and Hakka noodles. Taste took us back home to the Chinese restaurants in Mumbai. I have been to several Indo Chinese restaurants in the USA, but this one gets full marks. Definitely becoming regulars here!

Absolutely delicious !!! Perfect Indo Chinese taste. I will be ordering quite often. Ordered 4 to 5 items. They all were good and portion sizes are also good for the price. Very few restaurants have good portion size with reasonable prices. But this one strikes the difference their. Good portion with perfect seasoning of spices to cater those taste buds makes them unique. Please maintain the taste. I ordered rice the taste was pretty good but rice quality can do a bit better I think. Anyways overall a good experience.

Ordered delivery, food was 35 minutes beyond the 45 – 60 minute delivery window. Food arrived warm, but there was a lack of salt in every dish. Bland taste, nothing special. Definitely not worth $ 40 for 2 people. Won’t be ordering from them again.

Szechaun Mirchi specializes in Indian Chinese food, which is basically Chinese food made with Indian spices. I love Chinese food. I also love Indian food. This couldn’t have been bad. If you thought this was a takeout joint, you’d be wrong. The restaurant is a bit cozy, but it’s pretty nice and you should try dining in. I came for dinner on a Thursday, we were seated quickly. The service was average, I never felt rushed. Ordered chicken lollipops, chili crisp vegetables, szechaun chow mein(spicy hakka noodles), and the kofta ball manchurian. The chicken lollipops were good, especially with the creamy spicy sauce. The chili vegetables were sweet and spicy, but not very crispy. The sauce that came with the kofta ball manchurian was great, and the hakka noodle was chow mein with Indian spices. The portion sizes are pretty large for the price, definitely worth it.

What a terrible experience. Went there during the week for dinner. Terrible service– we had ordered soups and while this initially took 20 minutes, it took 45 minutes for the other ood to come out. The bizarre thing is we were the only ones there. The man at the counter(owner?) just stared at us the entire time. The place is clean but barely lit. I wish the food could have redeemed them but it was practically inedible and the portions were absurdly small. The lollipop chicken and deep fried Thai chicken had both been deep fried in the same batter and served with the same mayo based sauce. The hot and sour soup was slimey and bitter. The chilli chicken and the Szechuan chicken were mostly thick sauce with a few small pieces of chicken floating inside. Never again.

We were excited to find Indo-Chinese cuisine near our temp accommodation. Food was good and service was excellent. We tried chicken corn soup, chicken lollipop, Chilli chicken & vegetable Haka noodles. All the food tasted good — however pls keep in mind that Chilli Chicken is the curry based and not the dry version.

I love their food. It is no Chinese food I ever had before. It really shouldn’t be called Chinese. I love their Fish in Red Chili Sauce. I bet you that you never had this sauce in your life. Fish is so flaky and soft, never over cooked. And the Sauce. It’s all about the sauce. Lamb Manchurian is another dish that I’ve never seen before. Spicy dark sauce is off the chart. You put that sauce on my shoes, and I’ll eat them. Shanghai Chicken Fried Rice. Light, and savory. Love it. Perfect to put sauces all over them before shoving them in you moth. I am going on a limb to say that this might be the only«Chinese Restaurant» that doesn’t use MSG. I have to give you a warning though. I guarantee you will overeat and go «OMG, why did I eat so much?»

Visited this place yesterday with a group of friends and went in food coma. Place was decently crowded even on a Tuesday evening. Haven’t had such amazing indo-Chinese food in years in United States. We tried OKRA chinese starter(don’t rember exact name), chicken lollipop, crispy chicken chilli for appetizers and chicken manchurian, ginger chicken, schezuan chicken along with fried rice and chopsey noodles in entrée. Everything tasted so delicious and was very light on stomach. Service was a little slower but worth the wait. Place offers BYOB so one can bring your own booze. Booze can be purchased from the store across the restaurant. Making a reservation for a large group would certainly help. Being a weekday, we found public parking easily right in front of the restaurant. Can’t wait to be back!

We ate here for the first time Friday night and it was so good that we decided to do take out from here on Sunday night(same weekend). We live 25 – 30 minutes away, but the food is just so delicious! This is our new go to place! HIGHLYRECOMMEND! We got the American Chopsuey, Chicken Szechaun noodles, and paneer Szechuan which were all made to perfection!

I visited this place once. They have some really good fusion combinations, and decent vegetarian options as well. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Their service was a bit slow but other than that no complaints. This is a very small place I wouldn’t recommend going in groups. Also finding street parking might be a bit difficult.

This was a good indo chinese place. The chicken lollipops were good. I also liked the chicken fried rice with chili chicken. The prices are very reasonable. Its not a huge place. The service is also just OK but the food is very good.

WOW! Like someone else said, this was surprisingly delicious. We ordered through Grubhub, and that night Grubhub had some technical issues. We called the restaurant directly and they were extremely helpful, friendly and gracious in getting us the food we wanted. When the food arrived, the portions were the first thing that impressed us, then the smell, then the taste. It was delicious! Plenty for leftovers and the prices are so affordable. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

Ummm… wow. «Wow» is the word I must use to describe how surprised I am that the meal was THIS good. We order the following via GrubHub: Chicken Lollipops: Oh my goodness, what the hell! And why is it so good?! Okay okay, so these are deep fried pieces of chicken wings but they push the meat to the end so it mimics a lollipop. It’s very well seasoned(visible pieces of herbs) and just the right amount of spice. The red color concerned me at first, but it was love at first bite. Chili Chicken: the dish I received looked drastically different than the one a previous customer posted on Unilocal, but it was amazing. They are these little chunks of chicken(dark meat!!! yayyyy) in this heaven sauce. Super flavorful and I cleaned the plate. Tom Yum Soup: This was a mistake to order. Note to self: don’t order a Thai dish from a NON-Thai establishment. My throat was hurting so I wanted a spicy soup to sooth the pain. This soup was soooo off. Not authentic tasting. Chow Mein: Perfectly balanced flavor. Texture on point. Freshly made in house lamb/chicken tibetan momo: AKA plain old dumplings. I was disappointed in the lack of flavor and the thickness of the dough. The picture posted«from the business owner» of these is deceiving. BIGGEST criticism is that lack of hearty vegetable dishes or veggies in the meat dishes, i.e. broccoli, asparagus, snow peas, fresh green beans, spinach, etc. For folks who like(or need) veggies, I didn’t see many options. In conclusion, despite too dishes here being lacklsuter… I STILL award Szechaun Mirchi a full 5 stars(yes, I’m surprised too), because THAT is how good my dishes were. Enjoy dear Unilocalers, enjoy. #notyouraverageChinesefoodinthisarea #fullofflavor #spicespicespice

Not that great but not that bad either. I’m giving an extra star for the service– we were the only people in the restaurant at first, so that might’ve helped, and the girl behind the counter was very very helpful in recommendations, explaining what the food is like, bringing us condiments without being asked, etc. I thoroughly appreciate such attentive service. The food was a bit of a shocker– I was expecting some oily Chinese food but it was NOT oily at all, and in fact, had so much sauce to mix the rice in with, we got an extra bowl of rice! The chicken corn soup was a bit weird for me– a bit too sweet and bland at the same time. The wonton soup looked good but I didn’t try it as it has gluten in it and I have a gluten allergy. I can’t say any of the dishes were particularly rave-worthy, but the amount of spice was just right! I loved the condiments to add to the dishes– it’s a nice touch. It’s BYOB so make a stop at the liquor store. This is NOT just a to-go place– it’s small but has about 8 – 10 tables and 2 couch booths, so definitely get the sit in experience here!

Decided to give this place a shot, friend kept recommending it. So went here witha group of friends, the place was pretty empty… that is usually a bad sign. So the service here was great lol We decided to order a bunch of dishes since all of us for fasting for the day, and the hunger had built up. Our waiter explained that the dishes would take a while because they are all made fresh. SOUNDSGREAT :) Btw the place is byob We told to him to bring it out as it cooked. All of our dishes here definitely tasted fresh and hot to touch. All of the dishes we had here were good to great. The best dishes to me wrre the chicken wontons, chili chicken(entrée), noodles, papaya salad, and the Singapore lamb. There is one dish none of us enjoyed that was the Prawn Pakora. The postive side was my friends all had a different favorite. Infact they loved the Okra the most. I found this place to be pretty cheap or affordable should be the world. 5 of us stuff our faces and had more than enough food left for another meal, it almost looks like we carrying out lol. Bill came out to 125 without tip. Anyhow give it a shot. Definitely unique cusine, it’s not chinese or indian, it’s a bit of fusion I felt

We ordered here today for lunch. There were about 10 of us. So my experience is 100% based on take out as I haven’t had the pleasure yet of dining in, but it’s on my to-do list. First I will say that I do agree with the reviewer who complained about the delivery time. But the food was good enough I can see past that. My tip to you would be to know that you cannot call in a lunch order until they open at noon, so if you like to eat before 1:30 or so, you will be disappointed. Our order didn’t arrive until about 1:38 and everyone was dragging around the office asking«where’s the food?» and complaining(myself included), «I’m hungry». But when the food arrived, all was forgiven. So in the future we will have to know the delivery is going to take longer than we are used to with some of the larger more established restaurants in the area. It’s all about expectations. But I have to say the food was delicious! I love the mix of different types of food. For those who like spicy food, you should leave here pretty happy. I would like to see a few more non-spicy vegetarian options. The only complaint I really had was my vegetarian Okra(«Okhra» on the menu) was a bit stringy. I guess that happens sometimes with Okra and Asparagus, so I get it. But I would like to see more non-spicy options since sometimes the spices upset my stomach. My coworkers also raved about the place — there are about 10 of us and they are super picky so that says a lot. They also did a great job of labeling our individual orders with our names and putting each in separate bags so it was easy to tell who got what. With an order that size, it can be tough otherwise! They did a great job. Overall though, I’m really happy with this find and hope they will stay be able to be profitable and stay in the neighborhood. I believe this restaurant is in a spot where a previous restaurant launched and closed pretty quickly despite amazing Unilocal reviews. Only other thought … the misspelling of the word«Szechuan» as «Szechaun» puzzles me. The food is actually very good and very authentic, so it’s odd to have the restaurant name misspelled.
