Peanut butter Oreo is the best ice cream I’ve had in quite some time. Cannot say enough good things about it as I’m shoveling this deliciousness in my face as I write this. It’s a small little shop, I was greeted by two young ladies that let me try a few things since I’d never been here before. The shop reminds me of the same kind of small town shop I grew up with. I’ll be back for sure.

I used to think the best ice cream on the Westside was a different place. Now, I think Webers has changed my mind. I LOVE the vintage custard ice cream. It’s so creamy. They also have so many options for flavors of «regular» ice cream. Even the«regular» ice cream is awesome though. The only thing I wish is that the prices were just a tad lower… But I guess you have to pay for quality. Even though this place is a bit farther from my house than some other options, it’s worth the extra bike ride.

The Weber Report Weber’s Premium Custard & Ice Cream is located at 20230 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, Ohio, 44126. Their web address is I don’t know if I can even give an accurate review of this creamy goodness. We did have our ice and cooler ready, but had some technical difficulties. My Higbee’s Malted container was not close enough to the ice like someone’s Black Cherry, so as a result it melted a little and because it was a little askew in the cooler, I lost about an eighth of it(that is about a ¼ cup) but I managed to get the rest into my freezer when I got home. Of course I had the tester, and a little bit that night, but I finished the rest of it the next day after it solidified. All of these snafus could be a plus, because let’s remember the malted is not a solid ice cream product, it is closer to a Wendy’s Frosty®. Don’t get me started on those. I was sold visually with the Weber’s product. The color seemed about right. The malt flavor was close to what I remember. All in all I would have to say Weber’s® was closer to what I remember. But to be completely honest-both Rosati’s® and Weber’s® were very, very good. So I would say if you are heading west hit Weber’s®, if you are heading east go to Rosati’s®. You can not go wrong with whichever one you choose. It was so much fun going down memory lane. You know, you really can’t go home again; well certainly you can physically go there. But I mean emotionally, and I realize that is a very sad statement. But the reason you can’t go home again is we tend to expect the exact same thing. But people change, locations change and memories fade. So yes – go home, but go there looking forward to making new memories… I’m just saying!

I have lived in this area for nearly 30 years and never noticed this place until yesterday. I have really been missing out! I went for the first time yesterday, and I went back again today. I had the lemon custard both times and it is amazing! My only qualm with this place is they don’t offer samples. They have a wide variety of flavors and I must have asked a question about at least 6 of them. Neither day did they offer a sample. I guess I’ve become a little spoiled by other local ice cream shops offering… In any event, Webers is definitely worth a trip. You won’t be disappointed.

Frosted Malt has to be the best frozen custard anywhere. The malt flavor is delicate, not overwhelming or too filling like malteds use to be. The custard has just the perfect consistency, very smooth. A triple goes down so smoothly that you are left wanting another.

Weber’s custard is smooth, soft as it should be, and so delicious it could be the entrée rather than dessert. Their ice cream is even better. I’ve tried salted caramel custard, butter pecan ice cream and mint chocolate ice cream. They were really superior to most ice creams and custards I’ve enjoyed over the past thirty-five years!

Still crazy good. Many more flavors. I’m going for the malt next time. Reminds me of Horlicks or Milo, and that’s really good.

You know, I do love the neighborhood ice cream or custard spots that seem to be disappearing rapidly everywhere, so I did really enjoy Webers. After we actually had a disappointing experience with a custard place down the road from Webers(normally, they’re good… not sure what happened that night), he was dissatisfied, turned to me, and goes, «want to go to Webers?» Sure, we already had a cup of custard that night. But did we care? No, why would we? Off we went, down the road to Webers. It’s a cute neighborhood place– it really lacks some of the outdoor seating that would do well in a place like that, but it’s cute. We went in, got the frosted malt, and came back out to eat it. It definitely tasted malty and it was good… but it’s no East Coast Custard! It just wasn’t that smooth, melt in your mouth custard I like– it was just a tad too sweet for me. Overall, decent, worthwhile, but just not my favorite cup of custard. But, if you’re in the neighborhood, you could try it? I didn’t think it was mind blowing, just decent… but still refreshing on a hot summer day.

Simply the best. Get samples before you make your final choice. Love it!

The point of this review will be to edit as I go back and try something different each time. Expect a lot of edits in terms of content and ratings. Pumpkin Custard — Wow. Not into the yearly pumpkin crave but THIS custard rules. Go buy it. Alot of it. Chocolate — Simple. Good. Mexican Coffee — personally not for me, it’s not bad, well received by my partner. Strawberry — tastes good, could use some actually strawberry thrown in the mix. Mint Chocolate Chip — I have a tough time with this. I’m not a fan of really chunky chips. I really can’t get over how much mint is in this. It literally tastes like I’m eating from a toothpaste dispenser. Not getting this again.

Really good custard and awesome customer service. I tried 3 flavors without that side smile ‘stop trying flavors’ look most scoopers give you when you are taking up their time. Of the three I tried(salted caramel, frosted malt, and banana) I liked the malt the best. The salted Carmel did not have enough caramel flavor for me. The malt however was the perfect combination of smooth malt flavor without the malt being overpowering. The custard overall was really smooth, but a little watery for me. I guess I am used to thicker consistency custards, but with the great flavor and the love you can taste in the freshly made batches and service, I think this place is well worth 4 stars.

Fantastic, smooth mint Oreo frozen custard, with the friendliest of service. Check out the ancient cash register and the charming old signs. They do take credit! I’m used to frozen custard offering maybe six flavors, not twenty. I wanted to taste them all! The salted caramel was verrry salty, though.
