Urbean Joe

Popped in here to wait while my car was being worked on at Larchmere Imports. I initially tried to go to Felice to grab a quick lunch but they were closed. Bummer. Being at Urbean Joe marked a «first» for me… it was the first time I ever walked into a designated «coffee house» and didn’t order coffee. The menu board featured a Latte, Mocha, Smoothies, and drip coffee. That’s about it. A lot of people stopped in, asking for some dude who worked there. And the phone rang nonstop with similar people calling to ask for the same dude. Hmmm. sounds like shady dealings?! Sad to say, this place is run down and more focused on selling chili dogs and chicken wraps with bacon bits. And she was out of ice so no smoothies that day. Sadly, I only ordered a bottled water and used their wi-​fi. This place needs a good cleaning up on a lot of different levels. It’s not really a legit coffee house. I know there is another location on St. Clair so, to be fair, I will check out that location. But in the meantime, I won’t go back.
