I work as a touring performer and I’m in a new city every couple days. While in Cleveland, I saw this spot had positive reviews and after calling for a same-​day Saturday appointment, they were willing to take me. Great ambience, friendly staff, and their playlist was on point! C did my cut. For such a chill dude, his attention to detail was borderline comical, but those were times when I was able to relax and realize I was getting taken care of. For a cut w/​design and a beard trim I only paid $ 30 (second cheapest I ever paid in a big city for the same).
Highly recommend these guys and I’ll be coming through next time I’m in Cleveland!

Went in here last week for the first time after reading all the positive reviews on Unilocal.I went in without calling so had to wait for an hour. As I walked in I was greeted by one of the barber C. He gave great cut and was very friendly. I got haircut and beard trimmed which was $ 25. Not bad at all. They do take credit card which is very convenient but there’s an extra $ 1 charge for it. Overall I would go there again if I’m in that area as I’m from the east side.

I just tried Urban Kutz after reading some positive reviews online. Waverly was very attentive and went out of his way to give a catered haircut of my approval. I felt a completely different experience from other places where it’s in and out in 7 min. A lot of detail went into getting the beard right, which is a new thing for me, anyways. I can’t see myself going anywhere else now. I highly recommend the location on Detroit.

I have lived in Cleveland for almost three years now, and up until a few months ago I did not have a consistent go-​to barber shop in the area that I was satisfied with. I travel for work so I would wait to get cut in Columbus or Pittsburgh. Now that I have found Urban Kutz, which is right up the block from me. I now have a regular spot to go in Cle. Big Wave is the best. He gives you exactly the cut you want with 100% satisfaction guaranteed. I now feel at home at my local barbershop and enjoy going every time.

Lived in downtown Cleveland for about 4 months now… been to 3 different shops with no success… finally found a shop that gives a great cut.
Chalon gave me a great cut and met some good people that work in the shop (Wave and Keith). Found my new barber home in Cleveland!

My grandsons ages 11 & 9 were visiting Cleveland from New York state. I found this barbershop so they could get cleaned up for a night out with the family. They were so excited with the results. Both boys said the barber named Chalon gave them the best haircuts they’ve ever had. The shop was warm and clean with a relaxed atmosphere.

Found this shop thru Unilocal while visiting from Cali. Having been to many multicultural barbershops, I am impressed with this one. Made me feel comfortable right after walking in, I was greeted warmly by one of the barbers (Wave) even tho he was cutting someone’s hair. Soon as I was on the chair, Wave was good about understanding the cut style I wanted, and didn’t rush thru any part of the process. I can tell he enjoys what he does, and is very personable while doing so. I was very satisfied with cut, as well as Wave’s professionalism. Will be coming back for sure when I’m back in town.

I finally FINALLY got the cut I’ve been asking stylists or barbers to give me but never ever get. Having recently moved from DC to the Cleveland area, finding this multi-​cultural barber shop is like finding a treasure. No frills, nothing fancy, just good prices, and exquisite professional attention to detail. Happy with my cut, happy with the beard trim. Wave knows what he’s doing! I am now a loyal customer.

The owner seemed to be a real cool guy, not to mention he gave a good cut. There was no wait which was great. Urban kutz is also in a good location right on Detroit. It was easy to find. Prices were about average for an adult haircut. Would definitely recommend. Check out urban kutz yall!

Nice multi-​cultural barbershop on Detroit. Been coming here for several years and I have never had a bad cut. In and out quickly and I appreciate Wave blending in my thinning spot!
