The LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Center of Greater Cleveland is an absolutely astounding resource for the LGBT Community in the area. The Center is staff by a knowledgeable and comprehensive staff trained to work with and support the LGBT community, in addition to educating the community at large.
Located on Detroit Avenue, the Center is absolutely overflowing with all of the information you could possibly need. They have books and pamphlets about every topic imaginable from sexual health to adoption to aging. They offer programs specifically targeted at teens and seniors, too. Oftentimes, they host meetings and programs for the community within the Center. As if that wasn’t enough, the also offer counseling, AIDS/​HIV testing, referrals, and so much more.
The Center is a welcoming place for the LGBT community and supporters of the LGBT community. The staff are warm and welcoming, making everyone feel at ease when they walk through the front door. They provide a completely judgment-​free zone for all to feel at home.
