We walked into this store while we were waiting for Felice to open. We had no idea what to expect; we pretty much picked the store at random and walked in. At first glance, we weren’t sure what we had walked into. I saw children’s stuffed animals, my boyfriend saw women’s clothing… overall, a mixed bag. But I’m glad we explored further. The owner said hello to us when we first walked in and, as we started perusing, told us there was chocolate and tea for us while we were browsing. We said thank you and walked over to see high quality chocolates and adorable little glass teacups; I was enamored. We didn’t have any tea, but I wish we would have! We went upstairs and browsed some art pieces. Among other things, there were some really cool kaleidoscopes. We walked back downstairs and looked at artistic jewelry, high-quality greeting cards, glasses, clothes, baubles and trinkets. I ended up deciding upon a pair of origami earrings(so unique and interesting!) and, while holding them, saw a flyer advertising a cause I was interested in. Apparently the store was holding a sale with part of the proceeds going to an organization I used to work for! I had a really great conversation with the owner, and agreed to come back tomorrow for the sale. Overall, I was really excited that we walked in to the Dancing Sheep, and I can’t wait to head back tomorrow!
