Arguably the most reliable produce stand at the WSM, and definitely the one with the broadest organic selection(that’s kinda like being the tallest midget, but they actually have a good amount). This is my go-to WSM veggie stand.

The Basketeria is by far one of the best produce stands in the Westside Market. I was so happy when I found them. They have the freshest vegetables, which are local Ohio grown and organic. A little more expensive than some of the other stands, but well worth the extra pennies you may spend. They are always very friendly, they let you pick out your own veggies, unlike some other stands where they pick it out and of course give you the stuff that is ready to go bad soon. When using other stands, the fruits/veggies I have bought have expired in as little as one day. Unacceptable! But with Basketeria, it lasts much longer and is much fresher. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good fresh vegetables at the market with quality service!

The Basketeria is one of my favorite vendors at the West Side Market. They offer organic and locally grown fruits and veggies that are always fresh and delicious. On their website, they list what produce they have each week and have the option for you to pre-order it so that it is ready for you to pick it up. The people who work there are always friendly and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about this place!

The best produce in the WSM! Pros: They try to keep things local and organic; they take orders over email and have it ready for you the following day; the produce is the freshest available at the WSM(their stuff takes forever to go bad – crisp things stay crisp and fresh); they have amazing sales(just got 20 lbs of tomatoes for $ 8); the owners are incredibly nice and helpful(I was missing an item in an order and they called me and offered to drive to my house to deliver it); their prices are generally cheaper than what I get for the same/lower quality at various grocery stores in the area(try to find super fresh Ohio produce at the grocery store for less and you’ll be searching forever). Potential Cons: They close early on Saturday(3pm – I’m ok with it, but it’s something folks might want to know); their stuff might cost a little more than other WSM vendors(you get what you pay for and I’ve had things spoil in as little as one day from other vendors). These folks are the model for great WSM vendors!

Basketeria local fresh veggies and smile– many happy fruits! To some it up, Whole Foods style organic fruit and veggies, local produce, and most charming people. Yes, it is one of the more expensive Westside Market veggie vendors, but you get what you pay for at Basketeria. And it is still half the price of Whole Foods/Whole Paycheck. The WSM needs more places like this one. Carry on.
