When my Mom was admitted to the Cleveland Clinic, I knew I wanted to buy flowers to be delivered. I live out of state so this had to be completed with online resources as well as phone calls. I wanted to use the shop at the Cleveland Clinic(which by the way has incredible customer service). However, the shop inside the Clinic did not have photos of the arrangements online and I wanted to know what I was buying and what my options were. I was told by the shop in the Clinic that Miklus Florist supplied all of their arrangments. I thought that I could look online to see what they supplied. I then called Miklus to find out which of the arrangements that were listed online were sent the the Cleveland Clinic. The person who answered the phone was extremely uncooperative and unwilling to tell me what they supplied the hospital gift shop with. She refused to give me any information saying she didn’t know what was sent over(please!) She said that she couldn’t compare any of the photos online to what was sent over to the hospital. She wouldn’t even tell me the names of the potted plants that had been delivered. Instead she told me that they would take care of me rather than me going through the Cleveland Clinic shop. I was then informed that they had a minimun $ 50 purchase with a hefty delivery charge(I think she said $ 13) I told her that the Cleveland Clinic didn’t charge a delivery charge, they had no minimun $ amount and that they had many options starting at about $ 9. Needless to say, I hung up and immediately called Joseph-Beth Booksellers at Cleveland Clinic 216−444−1700 which has superior customer service. Overall, Miklus Florist offered me terrible customer service, unwilling and uncooperative staff, and lost business. Congratulations, here’s your one star. Forget Miklus — call Joseph-Beth Booksellers at the Cleveland Clinic.

This is the florist right next to the entrance to the cemetery where my grandparent’s are buried. They are super nice. I prefer potted plants to cut flowers. They last longer. Well the lady took it a step further for me. She asked me if their graves were sunny or shaded and suggested a different plant that would last longer in those conditions. They also gave me the little hook stick things to anchor the pot to the ground so the deer don’t tip it over. Deer go traipsing through the cemetery at night. I’m from Miami, it would never have occured to me that I need to protect the flowers I leave next to a grave from anything. They have a nice selection, aren’t expensive, are perfectly located and have great, personal service.
