Best little Farmers market in Cleveland. You’ll meet the nicest people in the world here, both vendors and customers. A little something for everyone. Great prices too! Don’t be afraid of the neighborhood! It might look a little run-down, but it’s totally safe and lots of fun. The longest running farmers market in Cleveland, the building was built in 1932! A not-to-miss Cleveland classic.

The small, relatively young farmer’s market where you would least expect it(good, why should healthy affordable wholesome food be reserved for the chi-chi people among us only?) is open Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00pm all year round and additionally Wednesdays 10:00 am to 1:00 pm during April to November. Huge parking place is a plus. In a large open wall market hall you can find the usual farm-fresh vegetables, dairy, honey, jam, eggs next to various home bakeries, jewelry makers, African /health focused cosmetics inclusive ointments, and the odd and other surprise stand. The market is run by our wonderful Kevin Scheuring, who came across this task just by chance and thanks to his open-mindedness and fearlessness we have now this great market just around the corner, which is still an insider tip(for now). Kevin is also running his SPICEHOUND business, and if you are a passionate chef and always were looking for that extra extra extra deadly hot chili pepper or perhaps that weird spice you asked about at your favorite Tandoori restaurant, but never had an idea how it even might look like: Kevin either has it right there packed up for you or can get it for you special order. There is also a connection to a chicken cot /bee hive designer, so if you had been playing with the idea to start your own chicken and /or bees but were worried not to be in trend with the newest en-vogue design ideas in this field: now you can relax, as here, right at Coit Market, you can get things neither your chicken and bees nor your neighbors have ever seen before, even never dreamed of seeing, and you surely will make a splash in the world of homesteaders. For the rest of us who only want to gasp at the wonders of life you guys can shop for a cheap fridge fill right here and have a nice little chat with the stall keepers or regulars. Perfect place to visit on a slow Saturday morning when some shopping should be done but nobody wants to mingle with the crazy crowd in the supermarket. AND: if you feel adventurous or already run a small business maybe from home you can rent a stand here on Saturdays for 10 $, or Wednesdays for 5 $, or with reduced monthly /yearly fees for regular sellers.
