I have heard about Cleveland clinic and read about its ranking so i want to take an advantage of this place. I drove all the way from Michigan to Cleveland after i sat an online appointment! They call me and told me that my appointment will be with dr Singh, when i arrived, i was checked in quickly and called after 20 minutes. The nurse CC was nice and did the preliminary exam. When i saw the doctor i knew it wasn’t my day! She let the fellow check me first and she came back after they call her. I really was amazed when i read the reviews here, they seemed like they were with me in the room. She started by asking why you come? What you want? I tried to explain and tell her about my concerns, she seemed like she dislike me and she rush me out ! I went out to make follow up appointment ! The female on the disk was looking to me from her nose, she gave wrong papers, when i return the paper she didn’t even apologize warmly! I got out while asking my self is this Cleveland clinic or a third world hospital? I don’t recommend this place for ophthalmology, and I’m sorry for my self.

I cannot speak to the Cole Eye Institute as a whole, which is why I am giving it more stars than my experience there would dictate. I dealt with one specific doctor there, and found him to be entirely worthless as a medical professional. I was unlucky enough to have Dr. Mehran Taban see me at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute. He is a fellow there and was on staff in the Emergency Eye area. I realize that emergency areas are busy. I am especially aware that doctors have little time to chat because other patients need them. However, Dr. Taban literally would not let me finish — a — sentence. He gave me an exam that was quick, interrupted by a phone call, and shoddy. I kept waiting for my chance to tell him what was wrong, and he wouldn’t let me talk. Finally, I said, «Can I talk now?» He looked taken aback and bothered. It was the only way to say something before he walked out the door. I told him my concerns and he told me, «There are no magic cures.» …great. The man did nothing to diagnose my condition, didn’t listen to any of my information which might have helped him do so, and seemed almost bothered by my presence. Then he insults my intellect by telling me that magic cures do not exist. I realize that. In fact, that is why I went to the Cleveland Clinic. …ugh. The worst part was when a beautiful female doctor came in to talk with him. He got all full of smiles and was flirting his @ss off. Once she left, he turned to me and rushed me out. Dr. Mehran Taban really soured me on this place. I suspect it has more to offer in the way of good doctors and quality care. Next time, I’ll go with a different doctor.
