Disclaimer: I was not paid to write this review, I am just writing from experience.
Clara did an excellent job when I went there in January 2015. They do a really good job. I went in the morning and within 5 – 10 minutes, I was asked to get shampooed. If you are unsure of getting a blow out, the key to making sure you clear all doubts is by extra moisturizing your hair and not going for one every week if you know your hair texture cannot handle going that often. The ladies there are nice and they have a good business. I plan on going there again soon.
Side note, for those saying they felt unsafe, as an out of state individual who has spent time in that area, it is really not fair to give that insult. Yes it is not located in a ritzy ditzy suburban spa but this really is a good business and they do care about their customers.

Not the safest neighborhood. Low class, disgusting shop. Staff does not have hair cutting skills.

Taking into consideration that this is the «only» Dominican hair salon in Cleveland, I gave this place 3 stars. I’ll begin with the cons. The place is a tad bit on the dirty side, I was wondering how long I was going to have to walk over other peoples hair trimmings. In addition to the filthy floors, the bowls, chairs, towels, capes and utensils were NOT the cleanest. It also took the staff quite some time to get to me… I wouldn’t trip, only there were no other clients in the shop.
On the pro side, the staff was extremely welcoming after I was acknowledged. They are really fast and I was overall happy with my results. This is also a unisex salon. I saw A hound man get a hair cut and it looked damn good.
Overall: if you are looking for a place to go for speedy friendly service, this is your place.
