BEWARE! POSSIBLE RIPOFF! I called them because we had a toilet overflowing and brown water coming up near our septic tank. They quoted a price of $ 195 to drain the tank with an additional $ 250 if the line had to be unclogged.
When they came out, they took one look and said that the field lines had to be unclogged at $ 700. Against my better judgment, I said okay due to the urgent nature of the problem.
When they were done, they gave me a bill for $ 895. They did not mention that the $ 700 was IN ADDITION to the $ 195 for draining.
Additionally, I have no way of determining that they actually drained the field lines.
Later, I called a couple of other companies to compare prices (which I should have done first) and most wanted to come out and look and said that draining the field lines might not even be necessary. Other companies asked how long the field lines were or where they ran, but not these guys. One of them gestured toward the pasture and said, «I’ll bet that’s where they are.»
I get the feeling that their answer to everything is draining field lines because they did not look at anything else.
I complained to the company and was told that the owner would call me back, but he never did.
One last warning. They said that there are five companies that operate out of the same office. The truck that came out said All Pro, but their shirts said Texas Pride. Listen closely when you call around because they all use the same receptionist.
When you read the other reviews, ask yourself how typical it is for a company to get all 5 star reviews. Then ask yourself if those reviews sound fake. They do to me.
I can’t prove it, but I was definitely left with a bad vibe and the feeling that I had been ripped off.
