When it’s good, it’s great. When it’s not, it’s terrible. Rolls would be a nice addition.

Good food and good people. What more could you want? Very friendly, good prices, good food and big portions. They really go the extra mile.

So good. If I lived in Clermont I’d be here weekly at least. The Cuban sandwich was fantastic and a great value. I also enjoyed the tostones, plantain chips, and bread pudding. The food took a little long to prepare but it was worth the wait.

Two words«Ropa Vieja» I love getting this dish at Cuban restaurants. This ropa vieja was wonderful and was an option on the lunch plate. A regular plate was $ 7.49 for a meat, rice and beans, yuca or plantains. We were stuffed! The Cuban coffee was also great and I plan on getting it there often. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because we ordered the Cuban toast, which basically tasted and looked like garlic bread. We were expecting it to be more like traditional buttered Pan Cubano. It was«unacceptable» according to my Cuban husband. He was joking, of course, but he was truly disappointed as Pan Cubano is his absolute favorite. Granted, it was called«toast,» so we assumed it would be the same. But I’m telling you in case you’re also expecting the more traditional version. Overall, we enjoyed our meal very much and will be returning soon!!!

Troy’s has got the BEST Cuban sandwiches I’ve ever eaten! If you’re looking for good Cuban food and are in the area, you need to come to Troy’s now. Seriously, right now. I love the food, staff, and décor. This place is my number one when it comes to Cuban food. The staff is wonderful, service is great, and the food is simply spectacular. Troy’s, keep up the good work!

My favorite little restaurant! Just a little place, no big signs. They’re across from Home Depot, from the stores right hand side, hidden at the end of a shopping strip. I am hooked! The pulled pork is perfection. The sandwiches there,(hand gesture here of kissing fingertips and throwing them out into the air) so delicious! Especially the chimmicharo(did I spell that right? Even the staff there are wonderful. Their sweet and friendly. Oh, let’s not forget the great family meals you can pick up and take home! It’s cheaper than picking up McDonald’s for 3, and of course, better because it’s home made with fresh meat and veggies. One more thing, if you connect with their texting, they send out special texts(just for us in the know) of discounted meals. My number #1 place to eat!

I drive 25 minutes just to get this delicious Cuban food! I love being able to support a small local business. The staff is always friendly and patient while I’m ordering. Even if the line is long, it moves fast as the staff is very efficient. The portions are pretty generous. I love the Cuban sandwiches here. The plantain chips are always fresh and crispy. Also the rice and beans are authentic and never disappoint me. Make sure you either save room for a pastry or take one to go with you. The guava ones are my favorite!

Growing up in a Cuban family in South Florida, I’ve definitely had my fair share of Cuban food and with that being said, this place passes the test. I stopped by for lunch today and ordered their Chimichurri Steak Sandwich; it was very tasty. The bread was firm enough to not become soggy, yet soft enough to remain easy to chew on. It was filled with perfectly marinated pieces of steak and topped off with lettuce, tomatoes and shoestring potato sticks. This sandwich was really good, absolutely not what I expected to find in Clermont! Now although I really enjoyed my meal, I’ll be trying out a few other of their options when I return. They had several sandwiches along with several platters which consisted of a choice of rice, choice of beans, choice of sides and a meat. In addition to their meals, they offered a variety of pastries and a few beverages(Jupiña-Materva) which you typically only find in Hispanic restaurants/markets. The food was great and the service was friendly; I will definitely return.

After a quick visit to the local doctors office, I knew I needed something to eat before the next round of doctors and pulled out my phone… asked Unilocal what was near… and Troy’s Cuban Deli was at the top of the list. Troy’s is tucked away in the corner of a small retail area and holds maybe 30 people or so. Once inside, It was busy with a number of customers and it was already 2 pm or so. I was greeted by a friendly young lady who asked how I was doing and could I explain anything to me. I read over the board with her selections and was torn between the cuban sandwich or the steak sandwich. Both looked great and I grew up with a cuban mom so I knew how each one should taste… but I went with the Steak sandwich. After a short 5 min wait, they brought me out my sandwich and it looked great… and it tasted even better. I was very happy with the quality of the food… the look of the food… and the service was friendly and quick. The place was busy the entire time I was eating. People coming in for take out orders and even a large group of ladies who had no idea what anything was but the staff explained it all so they could eat. I will have to try Troys out again soon and get that cuban sandwich or the Media Noche sandwich… yum… Atmosphere = 7 Service = 9 Food = 9 Sure wish they had some cuban/spanish pastries to enjoy… Enjoy!

Great food and customer service! Only way I’d have a better Cuban sandwich is making it myself!

Best Cuban food I’ve found in Orlando. I grew up in Tampa where there are several good cuban delis and restaurants. However, until we found Troy’s, nothing worth mentioning in Orlando. Give it a try. It’s Cuban food with flavor.
