The customer service in my opinion at Quality Mowers at their new opened location at Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa Florida is extremely poor and unsatisfactory. A business should be customer oriented and should be empowered to take care of its customers when the business opens its doors to the consumer in a new market but you will not find this kind of empowered customer service at Quality Mowers at their Hillsborough Avenue location in Tampa Florida. Shop somewhere else!

Took brand new honda hrx217hya electric start for warranty work. Took nearly a week and mower came back with scratches all over it… questioned the service tech… oh that must have happened while we stored it for repair… no I’m sorry… no well take care of it… Do not use these guys if you have nice equipment and you want it to stay that way… You can tell just how they have the shop over packed with equipment…

I bought my Honda lawn mower here 4 years ago. Brought it in last month for a tune up — they did just what they said they would, gave me the parts they replaced(without asking,) and returned it to me with a free tank of gas(it was empty when I brought it in.) They also noticed that the handle on the started cord was cracked and replaced it(again, without my asking) at no charge. They got all the little things right(called me promptly when it was ready,) and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s running now.

I’m very unhappy with the service. I took my mower in on a Saturday. It was only a year old but wouldn’t start. They told me it would be a couple of days, so I called back on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I was told on Friday that my mower was the next one on the table.(they hadn’t looked at it yet) They called back a few minutes later to tell me I needed a new carburetor and the cost was almost as much as a new mower. I’m not sure if that is their normal practice to upsell, but when I came in they started listing a bunch of new parts I would be needing–«so you will be wanting a new blade etc… When I told him no, just get it started, I got a dirty look. Ladies, I would steer clear of this place. I If they had said it was going to take 6 days I would have taken my mower to a different company or purchased a new one. Even if it did need a new carburetor, it would have been nice if they had been upfront with me from the start.
