Good service, good food. Ordered an omelet with egg whites and it was so light and fluffy! Best egg white omelet I’ve ever had! Next time we visit Clearwater we will be eating here again :)

The Kettle is amazing! If you are from the St. Cloud area or just passing through Clearwater make sure you make a pit stop! It’s just north off I-94 on MN Hwy 24. Easy on easy off. Awesome staff and great food! The breakfast buffet is awesome! Stop in, you know you want to!

Went there and was sat immediately, but they put us in a dirty table… I said screw it cause I was starving and ordered the eggs Benedict with ham and it was decent but chewy lol. I couldn’t stomach the rest so I opted out for some strawberry rhubarb pie with a scoop of ice cream, I so regret it. I swear that pie was the texture of raw asparagus and I feel extremely sick from it /: Next time I will go there if I’m constipated.

Love this place. The BBQ sauce is awesome and my husband LOVED the chicken fried steak. Tater tots are crunchy and my daughter thought the Mickey Mouse pancake was so cool. We will be back.

Had a great experience at Keith’s! I have intended to stop there for years and finally did on my way to ND a couple of weeks ago. It is a small town family atmosphere and the quesadilla burger I had was great! It was a very nice portion for a great price. I wasn’t even able to finish it. I will definitely be stopping at Keith’s more and more now. Hoping to meet Keith himself sometime!

We were passing through on our way from the Twin Cities to ND a couple of weeks ago and needed somewhere to stop for dinner. This place was the kind of place we look for when we are out of the cities on the road. I had a grilled ham and cheese and a salad, my husband had the country fried skillet breakfast. Everything was good not really anything special. A little on the bland side. The sausage gravy could have used more seasoning on my husband’s skillet. Service was exactly what you expect outside the city — warm and friendly. We had a delightful server. I would stop here again in a heartbeat over any of the fast food along the freeway. The menu is enormous so everyone should find be to find something they like. There is a salad bar too. We pass this way fairly regularly on our way to the cabin so I’m sure we’ll be back. I think I’m trying the broasted chicken next time. I’ll update my review based on future experiences.

Exactly what we expected here. Great home cooked food. Sausage gravy tasted great and the cream of chicken and rice soup was too. I would also reccomend the strawberry pie.

The Kettle is a country style, home grown restaurant. We got there, because someone walking past us, recommended it. We were looking for a place to eat. The service is friendly and fast ! The servers are wearing a shirt with the motto: ‘its all about you.’ We were glad to have been there. The food is hearty, delicious and some of it, I havent seen anywhere else. Like the potato pancakes I like. Highly recommend it. Tip: Breakfast served all day !

6÷28÷14 — Had to decide between BK, Subway, & Keith’s. Chose the latter. Had a wonderful breakfast. Don’t remember what it was called but it contained sautéed mushrooms, onions, hash browns, Swiss cheese, & scrambled eggs. Read some complaints about food seasoning but mine was terrific. Hash browns were on the soft side and soaked up the great flavors of the other ingredients. Ambiance not much to rave about but service good and prices okay. Will be sure to stop by again when in the Clearwater area.

Great small town café! Must try the cinnamon roll or caramel roll, size does matter! Very friendly, family owned restaurant with all day breakfast.

We were on our way back to the cities from cabin country and stopped by Keith’s. We were greeted by the owner Keith. He is as friendly as he looks on the outdoor signs and billboards. This is a family owned restaurant, the menu offers a great variety and the service was amazing from start to finish. Unfortunately the food was just OK, it was MN bland and really just needed a little more herbs/seasoning. The foundation is there and the service is great(we all know that is hard to come by), so if Keith and family can work on adding a little spice in the kettle, this could be a top notch place to stop in the land of fast food joints.

Hot, bland diner food. Nothing to write home about.

My husband and I stopped here around noon on our way from Mpls to Fargo. We were planning to eat at the travel center(Nelson’s Restaurant), but it was too busy. We were greeted and sat immediately by Keith himself. The service was fast, accurate, and friendly. The food was good-fresh and hot. I had the gobbler omelet, with real turkey breast(not the lunch meat type). Typical diner menu and atmosphere. Will stop here again.

Ok, first off, don’t listen to any of the other reviews that even go below four stars. Don’t come to Keith’s expecting a Ruths Chris steak, this is a SOLID country family diner! I’m from Oakland CA and can’t really say many of these places exist. This is probably my favorite breakfast hands down in Minnesota! Keep up the good work Keith, and keep those Sunday breakfast buffets coming as well yo!

Taking a break from cabin cooking, we enjoyed a very solid breakfast here one busy Saturday morning. Skip the overpriced, nasty looking breakfast buffet, and instead look to the menu. Everything we ordered was well executed. My sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly to order. Bacon was thick, flavorful and neither under nor overdone. Rhubarb french toast offered an interesting twist on the usual. Also on offer were wild rice breakfast sausages, clearly locally sourced, and very good at that. Service was friendly. Our food arrived almost instantly after we ordered it. I’d eat breakfast here over Perkins or the nearby fast food options any day.

I went here with my family a couple of years ago and would never go back. It’s a little hometown diner place so I really wasn’t expecting much, but the service was pretty terrible. Some of our food tasted like it was going bad, actually. Who likes hair in their food? I hope it was just a bad day at this place, because I’ve heard people rave about it before. It’s unfortunate, but that one bad experience was enough for me to just forget it.

Great little mom and pop place. Had a good hot turkey sandwich. There was a little salad bar there, but we skipped it. My co-worker had biscuits and gravy with eggs that looked pretty good. He said the milk he ordered was ice cold and wonderful. We didn’t eat dessert but the pie display looked absolutely spectacular. Keith’s isn’t a five star place, but as diner-type joints go, it was as good as one would expect. Far better than any fast food or chain nearby.
