Stonefire Pizza

BEST PIZZA IN TOWN HANDS DOWN!!! Excellent service. Great tasting pizza. All around great experience. The quarter machine was out of order and of course the registers were out of quarters but a nice guy went to Safeway for my kids and I and brought us back quarters. I am blown away by the kindness in these employees. Great people, great food and a great time had by all.

It has crispy sauce and it is better than the last pizza place that was there and MOST LIKABLE IS THE BATMAN GAME

The pizza is great! Employees super friendly they make you feel welcome. Its the best pizza in clearlake. Took the spot since pogos left :(the place is always clean.

This is probably my favorite place to eat pizza, I highly recommend it. The owners are very nice people, I know them personally.

The service is great and so is the food, best Pizza in town. I used to drive out to hidden Valley for it.

I have been to the Clearlake location several times, it’s always fast, wonderful service, and excellent pizza! It’s consistently awesome and we’ve had several different pizzas, although the Stonefire Combo is our favorite.

We took the family here tonight looking for a decent pizza place. Upon entering the restaurant we noticed a strange smell. It was hard to place not sure if it was from the food from sewer or from cigarettes outside but somewhat off-​putting. We decided to order a couple pizzas. We got an extra large cheese and sausage and a medium cheese and pepperoni.
Overall the restaurant was fairly clean, although the booth next to us had not yet been bussed, and our booth, while appearing clean at first, turned out to need some cleaning. The busboy was very friendly though and washed it up very quickly for us although he forgot to dry it.
The food arrived fairly quickly, and the staff was extremely friendly. I was a little surprised they did not offer free refills on all sizes of fountain drinks, but they did offer a refill on the large.
When the pizza arrived, it was placed on the table with no means of serving it other than to use your hands. Normally this might be OK, but they used pizza risers and generally when a restaurant uses pizza risers you expect them to have a pizza server as well.
The pizza itself was somewhat less than average. It was extremely cheesy which normally is fine, but there was simply no flavor at all, at least not to the sausage. I decided to try some of the pepperoni as well just in case there was an issue with the sausage pizza alone. That was not the case, the pepperoni pizza it was also rather bland.
All six of us agreed that the pizza was fairly flavorless although it did have a nice crust and had a lot of cheese. The sauce was not very flavorful nor was the meet.
Still, overall the place was ok. The people are very friendly. The prices were not outrageous and we did eat most of the pizza. We might even consider coming back again in the future, but hopefully they will do something to the recipe to improve the taste.

The previous less than 5 star reviews must be the owners of the other failing pizza places in town.
This place is great. It is clean, well lit, and actually feels like a nice place to be not like a thrown out movie set. The pizza is excellent. While not artisan, it is very good; and it has always been CONSISTENT, which I think goes a long way anywhere. Great beers on tap, great games on the TVs, Touchtunes Jukebox, friendly staff, OK prices but the rest makes up for it. This is THE pizza place to go in Clearlake, you should only go somewhere else if this one is closed.

The staff here are very friendly on the phone and in the restaurant. Great customer service. Unfortunately I found the pizza just ok. Their sauce is very different and not a traditional (Americanized) flavor. The pizza could have been baked a bit longer to blister the cheese and crisp the crust a bit more. The baker may need a bit more experience in judging the doneness of the pizza.
I hope they work on their sauce a bit more. That alone would give them an extra star.
I find it nice to go to a place here in Clearlake where there is good friendly service. They just need to work on the ingredients a bit more. I’ll probably try it again in a few weeks or months and see if there are any changes in the taste of the pizza.

Was looking for a great pizza with great unforgettable decided to try Stone fire pizza while it isn’t a bad pizza it wasn’t a pizza to write home about. The crust was crispy perfectly cooked with right amount of crunch. But i found the sauce lacking in flavor the cheese too thick and pepperoni only mediocre in taste. Tried the garlic fries. Not good. Soggy under cooked and too much boxed parmigiano garlic was lacking this place wont be my go to place for pizza here in clearlake

I must say a Big Yummy.
I was very please with the 3 Pizzas we got. Taste just like the ones my Uncle Jake made in his Pizza Polar in Santa Rosa called Michaelangelos.
You really can’t find a good place and we have tried many.
