Love the food, love the coffee and the staff is super friendly. Between their 2 locations I have been a loyal customer for many years!

We have been to the Gunnar’s location several times in downtown Cle Elum, but have never tried the new location at the East end of town until today. The Bistro is so quaint and charming! Friendly service along with a menu that offers many great choices of salads, sandwiches along with breakfast items. They did a wonderful job with the build out inside being very rustic and cozy. They just opened their outdoor seating in back which is cheerful with the bright color décor. The only thing I would change about this place is the signage… not very attractive, but the inside makes up for the outside and the food is very tasty!

What a nice place to have a chai in a quiet part of town. Beautiful décor, games to play while waiting for food, easy parking. The food is delicious too! The berry crêpe was large and yummy. The egg scrambler was perfect and filling. Definitely coming here more often.

Good was good. All maid in house. Coffee is served from an air pot. Both seem like medium roast. I had the crepes and they were great.

Great little coffee spot at the east edge of Cle Elum, just off the freeway. If you are traveling east on I-90 to eastern Washington, and especially if you are headed up to Wenatchee/Leavenworth, this is a very easy-to-find spot, just off the ramp to 903÷10÷970÷97 headed towards Wenatchee/Leavenworth.(Headed towards Leavenworth/Wenatchee, turn left instead of right when you get to Highway 970; headed south from Leavenworth, continue a few hundred feet past the exit ramp.) The inside has the ambiance of a locally-owned coffee shop in Seattle or Tacoma. The owner is very sweet and offered plenty of suggestions on what to order. They had high-quality coffee, several non-dairy alternatives including soy, hemp, and almond, and chai made from true tea leaves, not a powder. In addition, they had a nice assortment of pastries and lunch items. Restrooms are locked for customer use only, and, as a result, were very clean. The owner topped off drinks with the«leftovers» after we had been sitting for a while(what coffee place does this?), which was awesome. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better coffee this far out in the sticks. This is what you’ve been looking for.

This is a fantastic lunch spot in Cle Elum. So glad we opted to check out this bistro. We stopped in for lunch our way home from Suncadia and were beyond pleased at the selection of breakfast and lunch items. There were several vegetarian options which is refreshing. I had the Caprese sandwich which was just fantastic! The bread had the perfect crunch, the balsamic reduction was spot on, and the tomatoes, mozzarella and basil were delicious. My friends had the black bean wrap, ham sandwich and veggie wrap. Everyone was very happy with their lunch. We shared an amazing berry crêpe for dessert — loved it! The décor is cool, the food is awesome and the service impeccable. I’ll be back!

I love this place!!! The people are so friendly! The coffee is delish and I love the chai tea! The breakfast burritos are huge! The sausage burrito is my favorite! I usually eat part for breakfast & the rest for lunch. We also love their lunch! I got a caprese salad — perfection!!! The place is decorated very nicely too. I love the framed tree branches on the ceiling that inter-mingle with painted branches. Very creative & beautiful! It’s an amazing, welcoming space. You must swing by on your way through Cle Elum.

We stopped by this new business on our way to cle elum. We intended to go to Gunnar’s coffee house but found this by accident. How cool is that! Christine, the owner, owns both restaurants! We admired the décor, we enjoyed the food. I had the apple walnut spinach salad and my best friend had the chicken wrap. Then we had a great chat with Christine and she shared her remodeling tips with us. Totally recommend this place to eat, drink and be cheery! They had a poetry reading event going on that night. I’m sure it was fun. Looking forward to bringing my friends here next time in town!
