Wee Three Bears Preschool

I’m writing this from the other point of view– that of the child. Some of my best memories occurred in Wee Three Bears. The teachers were so caring and intelligent. I felt safe and loved, but I cannot believe how much I learned! I was far ahead of others throughout kindergarten, first grade, and most of second grade. I didn’t really learn much of anything new– skill-​wise or knowledge– until third grade! I then went on to join California’s GATE (gifted and talented education) and eventually onto the University of California Santa Barbara. Wee Three Bears honestly set me up for the rest of my life, and I will always be grateful to the staff for their hard work and dedication and to my parents for sending me to Mrs. Casey and Ms. Teresa!
As a side-​note– I consider myself a nondenominational Christian, and never though

I have three children and my last child was the first to get into this school. I wish they all could have gone there. We really love it. The teachers here are so warm and capable, and when I leave my child in their care I feel totally confident that she is being treated with patience and kindness and being taught things that will get her ready for kindergarten as well as learning social skills. This is our second year at Wee Three Bears, and I have to say that when our time has come to an end there, we will really miss them. I also want to add that the school is located at the end of a quiet cul de sac. It has a separate entrance and you never enter the main home. It also has a separate play yard. I like that the school is in a home environment but is separate. I appreciate that i don’t have to worry about cars or anyone just walking in off of the street. The school is a Christian based school. Our family, while considering ourselves Christian, we had some concerns about it being over the top. It’s not. It is a lovely balance. I also know that different faiths are welcome. If you are looking for a class where your child is going to get a lot of one on one attention then this is the school. Class sizes are very small and that is almost impossible to find anymore.

My daughter is attending her second year with Wee Three Bears. I believe the school has been operating for over thirty years. Very small class size and focused on building a foundation of academics. The environment is loving and extremely comfortable. The instructors are nurturing in addition to teaching the children more than you could imagine. If you want to prepare you children for a successful kindergarten the Junior Kindergarten is the best. The school is very particular on who they allow into the school. I like this because they seem to have really sweet kids, and kind families. I also respect the school keeps the class size small. I have friends who went to this school and are now sending their children.
