TFTC Academy

A very nice dojo that is family orientated. The staff is pleasant, upbeat, and very hands on; I am happy to see they actively train as well. My two children train in Jiu Jitsu and I am pleased with their progress. The staff is really good at teaching techniques. They have varied activities during class for fun, exercise and motivation; good discipline, which you need to keep that many children in check; attainable incentives when working towards higher ranking, and a good ratio between students and teachers. Totally worth the investment.

After wrestling in high school and competing in intramural sports throughout college, I felt as if my extra energy and competitive drive were misplaced as I entered the work force. Finding TFTC has been one of the best choices I’ve made since I gotten out of school. I’ve been able to learn from the top martial artists in the state and have been able to translate that knowledge in various competitions, many I’ve been fortunate to be successful in. I’m in the best health I’ve been in since I was a teenager. Every person training at the academy is motivated not only to grow themselves but to have you succeed as well. Everyone is friendly and I’ve gained great friendships from the gym. I’ve been lucky enough to train in many places up and down the east coast, but I’ve always found TFTC to have the best instructors, facilities, and training partners.
