This group has been my primary physician for years and years! Whenever I get sick; which is rare, maybe once every couple of years with a sinus infection or an ear problem. I call their office and they can’t fit me in and recommend going to the Muir Urgent Care. Today I had an appointment to see the doctor at 2:45 P.M. I arrived 15 minutes or so early for my appointment. I wasn’t escorted to an exam room until about 3:10. Then at 3:45 after my legs were going numb from dangling off the exam table, I left. I am so beyond disappointed in this group of doctors. I can understand that they have emergencies, etc.; however, if they are running one hour past their appointments, they should at least have the courtesy to call their patients and tell them to come at a later time. These people are apparently a strictly 9 to 5 operation; forget about getting sick outside of Monday through Friday and also forget about being seen at your appointment time. It is a disgrace to the medical profession! :-(

I’ve just started seeing Dr K for about a month now in his new building. The staff are very attentive and punctual. He’s incredible knowledgable on Health and explains and breaks down every illness I have and comes up with a game plan for my specific needs. He has awesome nurses they’re always kind to me and answer any question I have as best they can.

Both my boyfriend and I have been a patient of Dr. Kaplans for 3 years and he came recommended. Don’t always take recommendations to heart. He never returns my calls, he’s usually out of the office by 4pm, his front receptionist is ok, the girl who used to support him left a while ago and I can see why. I have to continuously make call after call to make sure things are done as in faxed and or sent. He’s a nice guy and all but he’s not a Dr for us any more. I took some really important papers to him for my boyfriend and it took him forever to fill them out, to which he didn’t completely, he left out his medical license number, a his direct phone number, and left several pages blank. I’ve been to many other Dr’s offices and I can tell you, that forth going I won’t be going back. I can see the reviews already are very poor. Now you know why.

Dr. Kaplan was my primary care physician for nearly 15 years, and how many times did I see him? Not once! No, this was not because I never went nor made an appointment with him. I went at least twice a year for physicals and follow-up appointments. However, every time I requested an appointment specifically with my doctor, I was always seen by another member of his staff or the PA. In 2005, I even scheduled an appointment a month in advance just so I could make sure I saw him. The day came, I went to the office, was told he was in the office… then someone else came in to see me in the examination room because the good doctor had«gone to lunch.» While his name is still attached to the practice, I have had my doubts that he even exists. I maintain to this day that I don’t even know what the man looks like.
