I usually only Unilocal about restaurants, but I just had to write about this cool little shop. The owner is fabulous and has great taste. Although the merchandise tends to run primarily to the mid-century modern style, there are pieces that are just really cool and unique from many periods. From jewelry to accessories to furniture, there is something for every budget. All of the merchandise is locally-sourced and most items are either difficult to find or one-of-a-kind. Get a beautiful, high-quality light fixture or piece of furniture for the same price as(or less than) the mass-produced, imported junk you get at the big box retailers. You will be proud of it and it will last a heck of a lot longer.

Very rarely do I walk into a place and am in impressed. I found this place beautifully displayed. Not only did I enjoy exploring the store, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ronnie, who is warm, personable, and genuine. His passion for collecting and design is evident because the store is full of carefully selected new and antique items. I generally steer away from«antique» stores because some are honestly full of junk. Cool Stuff. Period does not fall into this category and is full of beautiful and fascinating items. Designer furniture, art, jewelry, and more. I spotted a lovely Murano bowl and the coolest Culver tumblers. This is a place I plan to visit regularly just to see what wonderful things Ronnie finds. Be sure to follow Cool Stuff. Period on Facebook. Ronnie posts his awesome new finds daily. This place is well worth a trip.

I’m not sure if things changed, but the store didn’t seem cheap to me. It seemed expensive. There were a lot of unique, interesting pieces but they were out of my price range. They had a lot of furniture and some house wares. The store was set up nicely and easy to browse.

This is a small resale store/shop. Not sure what direction they are going in. They have good prices and lots of knick knacks, chotskys, etc. I just found it somewhat disjointed. I frequent these shops often. Maybe I went on a weird day, maybe I’m weird. I’m sure they get merchandise all the time. At present I would say there are better retro/resale shops. I will go back. Who knows maybe I will find something fabulous.

great store! small but with quality resale finds. FYI the 351‑0000 phone number posted turned out to be a private residence, not the store number.

Cool Stuff Really Cheep is a great resale shop located next to Iron Barley in Dutchtown. They’ve got fun retro home furnishings, lamps, knick knacks, art, small appliances, jewelry, shoes, scarves, & hats. I’ve bought several things that I absolutely love and the prices are great!
