My insurance doesn’t cover Davinnci anymore. I love love love Dr. Vanco, but I would have switched dentists whether my insurance changed or not. Every time I went for a cleaning, I had a cavity, supposedly. So I’d need to make an appointment the following week to get it filled. This happened three times, where they didn’t even need to numb me fully because it wasn’t too big. I brush and floss twice a day, sometimes three(big black coffee and green tea drinker), and I use ACT every night. I knew the last time they said I had a cavity they were lying. I never had pain or sensitivity like past cavities have given me. But I foolishly let it slide THREETIMES! The kicker. my last appointment Vanco said a previous cavity needed to get refilled. He poked it asking if it hurts, I said no. Even though I had no pain and no sensitivity, he still«needed» to refill it. I told them I will not be making an appointment for that. Now my new dentist said they have no idea what he was talking about. My teeth are still doing great and no cavities! I think this place is just a big money scam. Even with insurance, the co-pays were outrageous! I’m 24, I’m not made of money yet! Dr. Vanco, if you read this, no hard feelings! You were always so friendly and gentle. Just the scams man, got kinda old.

If I could give 10 stars I would I was absolutely ASTOUNDED to read a negative review of Dr. Vanco on a «Google» website! For the past 5 years I’ve been going to him, he has been– hands-down — the best dentist I’ve ever known. No BS. And trust me… I am VERY picky! Not only has he managed to save the remaining teeth in my head(I’m 65 y.o. & never took great care of my teeth), but every time I see him, I leave w/a feeling that everything’s going to be okay, and I’m STILL going to have a great smile! Of course, it’s not the pure white, capped $ 20,000.00 movie star one I want, but not bad for an old broad, for sure! :) Before or after EACH of my visits, he makes a LOT of time to chat with me about stuff going on in my life and, most importantly, he’s genuinely interested! Seriously, folks… he is a FANTASTIC(NOPAIN) dentist AND he’s a gorgeous hunk, to-boot(if I were 30 years younger he’d be in trouble… but sorry girls… he’s VERY married w/an adorable little daughter). If you don’t make an appointment with this guy, you’re truly missing out on a GREAT experience at a dentist’s office!(Who’d have thunk it!!) BTW, his staff is phenomenal, as well… Theresa, Amy, & Jackie(my hygienist, who, BTW, is a doll & hilarious… ask for Jackie!!) I’ve got an appointment with Jackie tomorrow morning, and I’m bringing the staff donuts, which I do occasionally. They most definitely deserve it for being so wonderful to me.(Plus, all that sugar is good for the business, ya think?)

I stopped into Davinnci Dental last week for a routine cleaning. I’ll admit — it’s been too long since I’ve visited the dentist. Upon entering, you’ll find a great reception area. The staff wasn’t overly friendly but it was mere seconds before Kim(dental hygienist) called me back for my cleaning. I wish I could give Kim 5 stars. She did an excellent job taking x-rays, explaining how & why for everything. She was gentle and a surprisingly great experience getting my teeth cleaned. At 26, I’m proud to say I have no cavities and take care of my teeth. Then Dr. Vanco came to check on me. Even though he exclaimed(at least twice), «You have beautiful teeth!» He found 2 cavities. Somewhat devastating… but he showed me the x-ray and how his diamond tool thingy confirmed his findings. Okay. Overall it was a decent experience. I just received my bill and even with insurance it was almost $ 100 just for consulting/cleaning/x-rays. To have my cavities filled it’s an additional $ 244(again, with insurance). So there’s that. Seems a bit pricey. I’m glad I’ve found a dentist I like but, more importantly, an excellent dental hygienist.
