My husband and I discovered the recreation area by accident. We were driving in the Clallam Bay area – totally lost when we happened upon Pillar Point. It was gorgeous in June. The water was clear. The sun was bright. The foliage was bright green. He stopped to sketch and I stopped to take pictures. I really needed a break from the car. We had a nice walk on the beach. We had a good time. We will definitely return.
