Waited 20 minutes for a table which is normal. What was not expected was to be seated and no service. Another table was seated after us next to us. Their server waited their table right away. We watched them receive their meal, eat their meal, pay for their meal, and leave within an hour. Our table had not been waited on yet. 5 month old baby and a 8 year old to celebrate her 8th birthday. I had to go up to the hostess and ask to speak to a manager. We got our food within 10 minutes. He proceeded to take $ 10 off our order. Not satisfied. Disappointed. We have never had this sort of service here in the 20 years prior. Not sure if we’d return.

We’ve been pretty happy with this location for consistent service and food — The new table computers are useful for paging the server and paying or splitting the check. They are easy with the dipping sauces and bun substitutions.(i love the ciabatta for the guac bacon burger) Recently I had misplaced my wallet and the staff/management found it kept it safely locked up until I called about it couple days later. [yeah I should have realized it sooner.] Parking is difficult so that would be point off. Compared to other locations, this one’s parking access is really cramped and usually we have to find an aux lot across the street which is harder with a baby now.

Really enjoy coming here! Staff is great and so is their customer service. Been here numerous times and got my food in a timely matter and usually very quick. The quality of food is also great no matter what you get. Definitely would recommend this location!

If you want a good hamburger and some hot French Fry’s this is the place to go Friendly staff always hot and fast if the games on the table were free like at Applebee’s I’d give them 5* but $ 1.99 for games that are on our phones is ridiculous… The food is good but the air vent overhead dropping dust bunnies was very off putting!

Let me just start by saying that I’ve never been a huge Red Robin fan. There are just too many good burgers in this town to settle for a mediocre chain. But my husband, for some reason, thinks RR is terrific. We went on Christmas Eve prior to catching a movie at Clackamas Town Center. This was our first, and probably last, experience with their tabletop consoles. No thank you, we don’t want to play games(for a price) while we eat dinner. Actually, we choose to engage with each other instead. We did use the«call your server» option when we were being ignored. Leah, our server, came over, turned off the device, then told us she’d be back in a few minutes. WTF? What’s the point of calling her if she’s still going to ignore us? All they’re doing is reducing staffing and increasing customer frustration with this little doo-hickey. Our burgers were ok, not great, as always. Fries came out cold, and based on Leah’s response, my guess is that this happens a lot. It happened the last time I was there too. From what I hear, RR is trying to increase profit on the whole bottomless fries option. I heard a server say you can no longer order a side of bottomless fries — it’s a one-time serving only, even if you’re ordering them to go with a salad or something. Pass.

We live in the area and stop by this particular Red Robin once every few months. We’ve never had any service or food issues. The majority of the time, we bypass the employee near the door and walk over to the bar area to be seated. If it’s full, we approach the person near the door and ask for a table. Servers usually notice our arrival within a couple minutes and give us our menus. Then it’s smooth sailing from there. Every once in a while, the server will take a long time to refill our fries, but it doesn’t occur often or long enough for us to be bothered by it. It is a Red Robin so the food isn’t super high quality. Thus the 3 stars. They are exactly as the description says, «A-OK.»

I used to eat at Red Robin frequently and have been to this one before. Most of the time I have had fairly pleasant experiences with them, this one was not so great. Restaurant was cold, it was cold outside and the wind was blowing but even with my jacket on it took some time to warm up inside. I ordered water without ice, it came with ice. My daughter ordered hot chocolate, it came lukewarm. The waitress did offer to bring her a warm one and did bring me water without ice I think after she heard me discussing with my partner how they had messed this up. They now have electronic touchpads you can order on at the table, you can also play games on these but it cost you money. This is a big distraction when you have a young child who wants to play the games that are priced at a premium. This diminished the experience I had as my daughter was more focused on wanting to play games and not happy that she wasn’t allowed to. They also keep advertising pictures of dessert, anyone with a child knows when they’re flashing ice cream and root beer floats the«can I have» questions come over and over again. I ordered the guacamole burger as I had before on a number of occasions. The toppings on the burger were sparse, usually while eating a burger there it makes a bit of a mess on the plate. I guess looking for the positive here there was no mess the negative, a lot of flavor was missing. It was still an OK burger but not what I expected. My partner woke up at 3AM with a very upset stomach after eating her normal dinner there. The floor had a bit of a dirty greasy feel to it. Parking was hard to find i’m not sure part of the lot was closed off for construction or if that was it.

Like all RRs, it’s sticky, stinky, and loud, BUT… The kids love it. The food, for being mass produced, was actually decent. Most of s stuck to burgers but the chicken strips were good and the fry choices along with sauces were a fun surprise.

Great burgers and can’t go wrong with bottomless fries. Prices are pretty high for burgers. I had a Cobb salad and it only had a few pieces of avocado. French onion soup was delicous. Service was prompt and friendly.

Today tried their new limited Mad Love Burger. I expected more to be honest… But I am full from the burger. If it tasted a bit better I would had finished it. It also took a very long time for them to take the order and make it(as usual). By the time I got my burger the cheese was completely dried out… Which was kinda difficult to eat lol.

In town on a very wet Halloween. Wanted something local, but familiar. Read all the reviews, but decided to go anyway. Not sure why, but the place is scruffy. Not quite dirty, but the carpet could have used vacuuming. This was 8pm and it looked like it had not been revacuumed since opening. Servers doing the bus person role. ?? No cleaning staff? ? Service casual. Seemed as if the touchscreen remote on the table was intended to act as interface, but incomplete menu and beer options. Set up to summon a server rather than have the server be primarily responsible for the customers. Technology poorly designed and implemented. Mixed review on the food: one burger good, other dry with over caramelized onions that tasted as if they were cooked hours earlier. Bottom line: something fundamental has gone wrong with the chain. Off the list– even in the pouring rain!

Debates on 2 or 3 stars because food was good. However the the restaurant was filthy. The booth, the carpet, the kitchen(yuck) saw it as we exited. $ 3 for each iced tea? Ridiculous. Won’t be returning . I wanted to update how ridiculous this has become after providing Red Robin with feedback about this 9880SE Washington St. Portland OR location. I have received 3 emails asking for the same information I’d already given! Each time they have the wrong store location listed and each time I correct them. It’s obvious that I or my family & friends will no longer be patronizing such a place

We were just ignored at another restaurant and left that place when we decided to come here instead. It was a good choice, because we were greeted and sat as soon as we walked in, and although it seemed a bit busy, we were greeted by someone at our table in no time. The service was great! The atmosphere was clean and looked brand new. Everything looked pretty whimsical and modern. They have changed up their menu since the last time I went to a Red Robin, but what hasn’t changed is the bottomless fries. Woo! Hoo! We only got an extra basket, because we were so stuffed, and we definitely used their seasoning, because it’s awesome. We ordered a Burnin’ Love with chicken instead of a burger patty. It was the perfect amount of spicy with chipotle sauce and pepper jack cheese. It was yummy. My child got the fish and chips, and for fish and chips at Red Robin, they were good and crispy. We ordered chips with guacamole and salsa beforehand as an appetizer, and they were simple, but they weren’t completely filling like most appetizers. When we left, we got a red Red Robin balloon, which my child loved and wouldn’t let go of for the rest of the day.

Gotta love Red Robin. This one has been here for a while and they’ve always been good with their unlimited fries and cheap burgers. Where else can you go and get a good sized cheeseburger and unlimited fries for only 6.99? Inside is pretty big and they’ve got the new computer things at every table where you can play games or pay your bill. Overall the price is right and the food is good. I recommend!

What’s red robin all about you might ask? Welp it’s all about American burgers and bottomless fries… Or so we thought… This is a restaurant I grew up going to and have watched it changed. I feel that they are trying to get away from the classic American styles and going towards the fancy downfall. They remodeled here and it’s like they took out some seats. This red robin is busier than ever. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait to get a seat. Food is red robin food but it’s hard now to just get bottomless fries before you order! If you have time to waste? This is your spot. Patience is required here!

Red robin I’m sorry you used to be good. And now you’re bottomless fries are skeletons like you almost have to wait an hour for another round. You have added way to many food items to the menu which can be a peeling but if all are just sub par then who cares . You used to do good burgers and sandwiches. Now it seems nothing more then a over priced fast food chain.

We decided to go to Red Robin after about five years of absence. We were feeling the«cool» burger experience with a full bar and fun ambiance. Ten years ago Red Robin was known for its fun great food, burgers cooked to order and general casual awesomeness. I do not know what happened to this Red Robin aside of the fact that they have been through the full bloom of a now heavily built up area. With the Clackamas mall, trendy new restaurants and high concentration of shopping traffic this Red Robin died inside. Our time there was pretty bad. It was really bad actually. It was enough for me to email the company in distress which I usually avoid. It broke my heart to pay for our meal. Only two members of my party ate some of their food and they were very unhappy with it. The rest of the food was taken away at the end of the meal with one bite taken and a server who did not ask us why. We ordered the appetizers of Fried Zucchini and fried fresh Jalapenos. Why? The Zucchini was not mushy or oily, it was still to the bite and fresh tasting. I will give them that. The batter itself was overcooked and greasy. They mixed the two appetizers together creating a glob of fried jalapenos and zucchini. Two or three bites in and we were done. A drink order of Crown Royal Whiskey on the rocks tasted like a hard candy. The glass was unwashed and still had the residue of whatever fruity cocktail had once been in it. This is unforgivable. We asked the server if perhaps they had accidentally served us a flavored whiskey but were informed they did not carry any flavored whiskey. It was simply a unwashed glass. The burgers that we ordered, we all ordered«as rare as you can do them». We know that most restaurants have to cook to a certain temperature for health regulation reasons. Red Robin in the past has always been able to provide some good tasting beef at medium rare while staying within those guidelines. They cremated our burgers. I have to admit that I was shocked almost to tears at my over ten dollar burger which came without most of the listed toppings and was burnt. It was a deep grey color on the inside. I could not eat more than one bite. I had the Prime Chophouse. I dislike McDonald’s burgers, but even theirs would taste better. I will never go back to this location. We were ignored by our server. Our meal was not good. My heart broke for a use-to-be great restaurant.

This R. R. has a new classy look to the restaurant. Still the same menu, the same employees, the same everything! Our waitress was cool. She did almost spill ranch dressing on my girlfriend but my girl has cat like reflexes and was able to get out of the way of the ranch shower before it got all over her. As is my framily. We can’t go places without one of us causing a scene. Hence the«Ranchower».(lol. I kill me!) Our apps were great. Had the mozzarella sticks and the leaning tower of Onion Rings, good golly there was a ton! My BFF R. G. is a gluten free Girl. We asked for a G. F. Menu that took a few moment’s to get and then when R. G. asked about Gluten in an item our waitress was unsure if it had Gluten. WE suggested she find out. Did you read that? «We suggested she find out». When it comes to peoples allergies how bout you figure out your job and help us as customers. We did get our answers and my friend was happy. Then our burgers came out. We almost had it all when the person who ordered a Ghost Pepper burger got a regular cheeseburger instead. That was just dumb. How you could mix up a regular cheeseburger with a burger that has ghost pepper aioli, fresh jalapenos, pickled jalapenos and pepper jack cheese on it, is beyond me. 1 has cheese and 1 is covered in fire. Figure it out! All in all it was good. We like burgers and the menu is ok.

Red Robin — Yumm! They live up to the hype for us. Unlike many of my massive meat eating brethren, as I’ve aged I’ve come to appreciate a lighter fare.(I’ve also come to appreciate a less expensive option.) We didn’t have any wait and our order was taken quickly.(Hint: ask for a refill on the fries before your food comes. They don’t have a problem with it and it gives you something hot and tasty to eat while waiting for the meal with no additional charge). The Tavern Double is their answer to the Big Mac — two all beef patties on a sesame seed bun. RR has expanded the number of Tavern Double’s that they are offering and the smaller size is just about perfect. On this trip, I ventured out to try the«TurboQ» Tavern Double — «Triple S» sauce = kind of smoky, a little sweet BBQ sauce, and Pepper Jack cheese. It was tasty and like every burger comes with their amazing all you can eat steak fries. Fresh, hot, crisp on the outside and tender on the inside — I get hungry just thinking about them. The service is fairly typical, cheerful, efficient. The place is always fairly crowded and somewhat noisy but not to the point that it was uncomfortable for us. The peach ice tea certainly lived up to it’s name. We’ve been there before and we’ll be back. It’s consistently good, the wife can get a margarita with her meal(try that at MickyD’s!), the prices aren’t too bad — $ 20 for 2 + tip + alcohol. That’s pretty much the bargain price to be seated, have someone take your order and have the food brought with a fairly extensive beverage choice. Who can complain? The time previous to this visit we had their new«donut tree» dessert(or something to that extent) — similar to their onion ring stack — but with fried mini donuts and a nice assortment of dipping sauces. If we weren’t already full after our meal we would have gone for that again — it’s mighty tasty.

Getting better, give it a try!!! I decided to give Red Robin another try after my last review. They were quick to message me and get more information which I appreciated, and I was able to speak with management which showed their concern and care for their customers. That goes a long way with this reviewer. I went back with my parents a few nights ago on a Saturday night. I was very surprised to see the complete remodel. It looks fantastic. They’ve painted, and re-configured their walk in and waiting area, making it customer focused and much quieter. I never cared for the kids room with games and loud noise. It was busy as expected, and we waited about 15 minutes, which was more than fine with me at dinner time on a busy weekend. I especially appreciated the young man at the check in keeping an eye out for an empty booth in the bar area, and when one opened they called us over. Food was very good, and a much better improvement since my last visit. Service was spot on and very friendly as well. I ordered my usual veggie burger and we all split an onion ring appetizer which was really nice. I assumed we’d be waiting a bit for food, but they were able to get things out in plenty of time, and our food was hot. Only negative here was that I had ordered cheese on my burger and didn’t come with any. I knew this was an extra charge which is the norm these days so I brought it to the attention of our waitress. She apologized and quickly offered to remove the charge from the bill. I would have appreciated it slightly more if there was an offer to remake my burger, but it wasn’t too important so I didn’t sweat it. People get way too upset about little things like that anyway. Red Robin seems to have come a long way in recent months. Perhaps the expediting could still be a bit better and has a few kinks to work out, but those things are just going to happen in a busy restaurant from time to time. Overall, I’m pleased to see some changes here and I’ll be happy to return. Check this place out and their great new remodel, you’ll be pleasantly surprised!!!
