Menchies Frozen Yogurt

Yogurt is great. The service… not so much. The first couple times I just said whatever. But each time I come in there it just seems worse. Then I called one day to see if they offered the $ 5 fill up special and whoever answered the phone was kind of rude. Plus they didn’t even say «Hello», «Thanks for calling Menchies» or «How may I help you». I had to double check to make sure I called the correct number.

I’ve been going to Menchies on Sunnyside ever since it opened. BEST FROZEN YOGURT IN TOWN!

Took the kids out for some fro yo!!! The sorbet was crazy good! almost too many toppings to choose from but the kids cant get enough of this place. The rock candy was my favorite!!!

Menchies is my number one yogurt place in the area. The pineapple yogurt is my favorite. I like that they have it as an option every time I visit. They don’t taste artificial like a lot of the other yogurt places can sometimes taste.

When the students at school found out we were having a fund raiser at Mensches, they were so excited. I had never heard of it so I stopped one afternoon to see why. Cake batter flavor had me as did double chocolate. lots of topping selections too. glad to know they are here since my favorite closed.

This review is for when we went this last July. I had never been to a frozen yogurt place before. I had never even heard of Menchies. I can’t eat fat or dairy, so it was a delight to find this place where I could eat and it wouldn’t upset my stomach. The frozen yogurt was delicious and there were lots of varieties of toppings. The price was comparable to Baskin Robbins. I would have definitely given this place 5 stars had it not been for the poor customer service. It was a Saturday and we were a large group. My family arrived a little later than our group, so they had already gotten their order. There were THREE girls working there and besides our group, there were only a couple of other customers that had already gotten served. The girls working there did not greet us, nor ask us if it was our first time. They were standing there basically ‘gossiping’ and looking extremely bored. Thankfully, our friends came over and showed us we could sample and how to serve ourselves. I know it’s not rocket science, but a little smile and ‘have you been here before?’ would have given my review a 5. My family plans on visiting the Vancouver, WA location this week so I am looking forward to this sweet treat and hopefully giving that location a 5 star rating!

The two stars are because fruit flies were all over the spouts of the froyo dispensers. They weren’t visible until I bent down to look, and they weren’t only on one spout but most all of the flavor dispensers. Pretty unappetizing and disappointing after I heard such good things about Menchies. I’m sure they deserve more stars than this but the flies aren’t something to be ignored.

Geezus! Who’d thought pineapple yogurt and mango boba ball thingies would be good??? They did.

The store manager emailed me as soon as she saw my review and has taken appropriate action. We love their yogurt and I’m willing to go there again. The management cares a lot about their store and their customers and in the end that’s what matters the most to me!
Went there this afternoon with my son and one of his friends. It’s always the same girl working and she usually rude and I have to go find her whenever we need something or have a question for her. Plus when she is around she makes rude comments about other customers, Today I almost wanted to tell her, «I’m so sorry that someone left their cup on their table and you had to throw it away but isn’t this your work!!!» Not to mention the way she glared at my son when they were drawing on the chalkboard.
This is the first time we’ve been there that I haven’t been impressed with any of the Flavors they had to offer. Sometimes it’s almost like they are trying to be to different.

Better than TCBY, not as good as YoCream. On each visit, at least one of the machines dispensing a flavor I wanted wasn’t functioning. The toppings are average, and some of the flavors taste powdery or like they coat your tongue (you can’t stop tasting it after it has left your mouth, and it masks the flavors of anything else you’re consuming). It is nice that they have mochi as a topping, though. If you’re in the neighborhood on a hot day, it is a nice treat.

My wife and kid have been coming to this delicious ice cream/​yogurt place a lot. My first visit turns out to be the best for ice cream. You can taste it before you buy it. Give it a try guys.

This is a great place when it comes to the variety and price, but every time I walk in the place looks a bit dirty. Almost as if they clean the tables once a day, so I always end up having to clean my own table.

Do you have a sudden urge to eat a huge portion of frozen yogurt, without feeling guilty? That’s right, now you can! I’ve known menchies for a long while now, and it’s good to go here if you wanna treat once in awhile. Unlike most frozen yogurt dispensaries, there’s actually a variety of different toppings and yogurt. There’s a ton to choose from, and over time they release another flavor. The people are nice folk, they always welcome you when you approach the door. My final thoughts? If you want to have a nice treat once in a while, for a decent price, go to menchies :)

Average in price and taste. I got get why they crammed the typing section in a stacked unit against the wall in the corner. I guess it would be fine if you were the only person loading up. That’s my main issue. The server was helpful and friendly.

Toppings are always fresh and each time we visit the flavors have changed. Love the variety! Usually stop by as an after school treat for my boys and we have a tradition of going every year on the last day of school. You can self serve any flavor prior to selecting. Wednesdays are «Waffle Bowl Wednesdays» & the waffle bowls are free!

I love the Dole pineapple sorbet so much I came back twice in less than a week! Thankfully they still had that flavor during my second trip! It reminds me of Disneyland and sunshine so it makes me very happy… And it’s dairy free! My toppings of choice are the mini gummy bears and mochi with the pineapple sorbet. The mochi here is fresh and fluffy. Other places tend to leave their mochi out for too long that they become hard and stale. Writing this review makes me wish I had some more! Perhaps a third trip!

what is one to do when they are crammed full from dinner, but left with a little sweet tooth? Self serve Froyo it is!
The flavors change almost every time we’re here, though I wouldn’t always put some flavors together in the machines… key lime pie and chocolate? or pineapple and coffee? It’s not like you have to swirl those two together, but I don’t think they put much thought to it when they set it up.
This store is always busy, but clean, well stocked, and the teeny boppers working are always smiling and appear to enjoy what they are doing. course they have a great Manager, but I’m biased since I went to high school with her!

Best tasting frozen yogurt i have had so far. Almost all the flavors taste really good and make you want to have more of. The only downside of this place is that the prices are almost double what they should be.

There are multiple flavors to choose from at this location. I liked that they had small taster cups set out for patrons. I hate having to ask someone working there to get me a sample. The toppings were all fully stocked and the fruit looked fresh. Can’t go wrong with self serve frozen yogurt. It’s perfect when you just want a little something sweet.

Menchie’s is probably my favorite froyo joint. I especially like their Facebook page because it will give you udpates on specials and new flavors as they happen. This isn’t always good for my checkbook nor the environment because I will drive the 6 miles or so down to the Promenade to have myself a $ 5 waffle bowl of Dole Pineapple Whip on a Friday night. And I don’t need it but thanks to the internet, I can have it.
So Menchie’s gets an A+ in my book. Best flavors, best toppings, cutest storefront and a loyalty program!
