Dave was super personal on the phone, and the bark was priced much lower than most landscape material retailers. He delivered on time, and was generous with the amount of hemlock mulch delivered, it was more than the 2 units I requested. I would recommend anyone looking for mulch delivery to look no further. Ask Dave if he knows anyone to help spread it, he gave me an excellent referral.

Called up Dale’s yesterday for the first time based on positive reviews here. They were willing to deliver (free) to me the next day. I was impressed especially considering I wasn’t ordering very much, relatively speaking. Very honest, straight forward and well priced. If you’re in Portland and need barkdust, this is it. No need to over think it. Great service.

Excellent product, price and service. Dave is an extremely honest business owner who is genuinely concerned about delivering an exceptional product and service to his customers.
I have used Dale’s several times over the past six years and have been extremely happy with the experience. While a blow-​in service is not offered, I’ve found that spreading the bark by hand (yours or a party recommended by Dave) produces a result that is far superior in looks and longevity to blown in bark.
I highly recommend Dale’s Barkdust without reservation.
