This place is not Jade House anymore. It’s called Greedy Cat. They haven’t changed the name on the outside so you are tricked into coming in. There were dead fish floating in the huge fish tank which is meant to display the fish you are going to eat. The place had a weird smell and a lot of banging noise. We left quick status!

UPDATE. They say they’re open but they’re not. I’ve placed 2 orders and everything went through okay… then 30 min later I get a call saying they’re closed for remodel. That being the case SAYSO! They don’t seem to care about the trouble they cause by accepting orders, then not delivering them. I’ll go someplace else.

First time eating here tonight and it didn’t disappoint! Came in pretty late. So we were the only ones there. Everything we ordered was great! Fried rice, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, braised green beans, spicy pork chops and hot and sour soup! Im stuffed just looking at this! Food came out quickly and service was quick and very nice! When ever we’re in the mood for Chinese, we will be coming back!

1st: I work near the restaurant so I asked for delivery, the time for the food to arrive was a little over 30mins, I ordered the cream cheese ragoons and the Mongolian Beef, both of which were good but I was a little disappointed that it didn’t come with a side of rice, other than that the food itself was good I will most likely order from them again. 2nd: On my second time ordering I got the sesame chicken lunch special with the chicken potstickers and I was glad that it came with rice this time, probably just cuz it’s the lunch special, the sesame chicken was good but it was a little heavy on the sauce other than that it was great, I wasn’t fond of the way they cooked it, the noodle exterior still seemed barely Cooked all the way but the inside was fine, maybe it’s just a different cooking style however the sauce that came with it was great! It was like a slightly spicy soy sauce that went great with it and I am no fan of any spicy food whatsoever not even Cheetos but slight kick it had was just perfect :) 3rd: this has been my third time ordering from this place and boy were they on time, I asked for my food at 5pm and I got it right on the dot! This day I ordered the garlic chicken lunch special which was awesome I even posted a picture of it with the bbq sliced beef which was also very good but a little heavy on the sauce(put up a pic of that one too) and they gave me a soup for free, not sure if that was part of the lunch special or not but the soup was ok, I’ve never tried a soup like that but it wasn’t my particular cup of tea, it had sort of a peppery taste to it, a flavor I couldn’t exactly place but it wasn’t bad it just wasn’t for me I suppose, I had previously rated them with 4 stars but their food has been good back to back so I am giving them 5 stars now :)

The food came earlier than expected but the delivery person did not bring enough change. I had to go all over the office place to break a twenty dollar bill. Food was good though.

This probably not true authentic Chinese food but it good enough for me. .the kung pao chicken chile is awesome so was everything else we had. Truly the only thing that was bad was the paper napkins suck. The beef chow fun was awesome the lemon chicken was good the vegetable fried rice was awesome my wife had the kung pao tofu she loved it.

Non consistent, didn’t have dessert last few times besides ice cream, Wor wonton is average(over hyped) egg flower soup is average as well — over priced. Cream cheese wonton has imitation crab and inconsistent wonton pastry. Delivery is convenient and satisfactory however.

I love their fried chicken noodles and orange chicken! Its old school Chinese food, and contains its uniqueness. I haven’t been disappointing with the food or service yet. Cleanliness is something they should work on, but overall I give it 5 stars!

Ordered food online off of Eat24 and it arrived early! Estimated delivery said 45 – 60 minutes and it got here in 30 minutes which was great! Especially because not only were we hungry and craving Chinese, but I had forgotten to order an item and had to go back and add it to the initial order. Usually this would add to the expected wait time at most places but not this one! The food was great! The meat was cleaned properly, not like other places where you get bones, pieces of fat, and the other nasty little parts of meat that I personally do not like! Everything was hot and tender, not to mention extremely appetizing and delicious! If you’re looking for a place that does not disappoint with the added bonus of delivery, you’ve found your spot! I’ll definitely be back!

Meh… I’ve given this place 3 chances. I just don’t like anything that I’ve tried. I’ve tried the Kung Pao… not good. I’ve tried the Sesame chicken… too damn sweet. I’ve tried the shrimp with lobster sauce… more like bell pepper in watery soup and I’ve tried the garlic chicken… meh. I love Asian food and this place is not authentic. I do not like it at all!!! Don’t waste your money. You can drive about a mile further to a place called Dreamland Chinese across the street from Nogales High. That place is super authentic and super yummy!

This review is getting 1 star only because it doesn’t give me the option to give negative stars. I ordered a large order when we had friends over, when the food arrived I went to open the take out box with the fried rice… Well I didn’t even have to open the Top of the box because the whole bottom of the container came open and all the rice splattered all over my counter top! They cook with so much«grease”(not sure what it really is) that the box couldn’t even stand up to it! Their orange chicken is not the best either. No one was impressed with their food that night and after our experience we will never order from them again!

Good restaurant… I love that they offer delivery… one of the things I hate about getting take out personally is having to go pick it up but with this place I never have to worry about that since they delivery my order to me. I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times and it is my go to restaurant for chinese food. Definitely worth checking out.

Have been ordering food from here for a few years now. Starting in mid 2014 the quality has gone down hill, to the point that last night I was ill. Fired rice was terribly greasy, the beef ??, I still don’t what it was, for the taste was nothing like beef. Was sick all night. Will never eat their food again. do yourself and your stomach a favor and stay away !!!

Got a flyer that says free delivery within three miles. I work less than half a mile from so when I called to place the order they informed me it was $ 1 for delivery even though I mentioned the flyer said free delivery they didn’t care. False advertising. I agreed to pay $ 1 and just took it off the delivery guys tip. We ordered orange chicken and potatoes with chile. The orange chicken was good but the potatoes were raw and stung my mouth. I would order the Orange chicken again but this place is just average… I’ll post a pic of the flyer.

What a great Chinese place to eat with the best lunch specials in town. You get a lot for your money. My favorites are the hot & sour soup, fried rice and cashew chicken. The dried noodles with a sweet sauce ooh so good. I always look forward to going back.

This review is based on a lunch special experience only. 4 of us walked in around 12:30pm on a week day. Plenty of tables are available. We sat down and ordered 4 lunch special(sweet and sour fish, eggplant, sesame chicken and braised tofu). A complimentary sour and spicy soup was offered for each of us. The orders came in fairly quick before we finished the soup. Very happy about this since I was hungryyyy. The reason for 3 star? First of all, they didn’t ask or give us any water. We almost finished and felt the heavy food and then realized there was no water servered… I guess we need always ask for water since it’s a limited resource in California oOoO??? Secondly, the food is very heavy, with so much starch added… in 3 dishes we ordered… maybe we ordered the wrong thing? The size of the lunch special is not that big but we didn’t get to finish them because of the heaviness. Thirdly, the servers stayed inside of the counter most of the time when we were there… so hard to get to their attention to ask for water or bill… taking forever especially it’s not that busy:( Well I can’t complain too much about lunch special. Guess how much is the bill? After tax and tips, it’s only $ 7.5 per person, with leftover that can be taken as one meal… I am satisfied. Oh they do free delivery too. Not sure about the distance but it’s a nice addon.

It was a hot day and they didn’t turn on the A/C until later… but it’s ok, the food was good, not many places have hand-made noodles. These noodles were very satisfying. Ordered a couple of other dishes and the bill came out to $ 12 bucks! Awesome! I will come here again when I’m in the area.

Whenever we order from this place and we eat their food for lunch, I am never left super thirsty like other places. I would say that that itself might just back up their word on not using MSGs(thanks!). We typically place the order over the phone and pick up. We’ve had no trouble with our food being prepared on time and the service has been friendly. In the past we’ve ordered: *onion pancakes *steamed chicken dumplings *chicken lettuce wraps *hot and sour soup *lemon chicken *beef chow mein *combination fried rice just to say a few. Unfortunately because there is soooo many Asian food restaurants here in this area, it is always hard to compare and decide which one stands out. Therefore this one is not too shabby in the fact that the food is tasty, has no msg, hot and well packaged when its to go and it is always ready on time. I do wish though that the onion pancakes and the beef chow mein weren’t as oily being that those are two of my favorite dishes to eat.

Perhaps it’s because I’m spoiled by the ladies who work here, but I love this place. Usual orders include fish fillet in spicy garlic sauce, cumin lamb, dan dan noodles, minced pork with bean curd, braised string beans, and thousand layer pancake(my entire life I never knew that’s what it was called in English…). I don’t have the exact same meal each time, but at least one or two of the listed dishes get incorporated in my order every time. The staff is extraordinarily friendly! Depending on your needs, you can ask them to add less oil, salt, spices, etc. I’d say the dan dan noodles are pretty much the best I’ve had in the past 8 years — it’s peanut-y, spicy, and NOT soupy like almost all other restaurants! The thousand layer pancake is HUGE, and can pretty much be a substitute for rice. I’m a lover of carbs, so there’s not much left to say. The minced pork with bean curd is absolutely delish! Pair the dish with some brown rice, and you’re stomach will thank you for the savory treat. The fish fillet dish and braised string beans are pretty standard for a Chinese restaurant, and I would say Jade House does a comparable job to surrounding restaurants. Again, we’ve asked them to adjust oil/salt content and they’re always happy to oblige. =) I’d say go with someone who knows what to order, as I’m sure there are dishes that are not exactly up to par with some of their better options. I’m enamored with this restaurant, and always can’t wait to be back!
