We only order 2round and they forgot both. They also gave us wrong orders. Btw, there is a bug in the udon soup, and they even don’t say sorry… Worst serve I’ve never seen.

Not a good place to order Togo. Spent almost $ 80 and the fish and everything was not fresh at all!!! Also the avocado isn’t green! It’s black!!! Wth is that! Maybe they prepackaged the sushi for togo. Will never come here again

Came here with a group of friends and had a great time! The service was great and the place itself puts off a subtle vibe. 2 thumbs up to our host CLIFFORD!

Great place to come after zumba! Absolutely favorite sushi place. I always get the crunch rolls. They also offer to go so that you can just call and they will have your order ready!!! :) i also like that they have all you can eat when im super hungry i will definitely come for that but for now i just always get my green tea with my crunch rolls. The service is great and the location is easy to get to Overall very satisfying place to come when you want something a bit lite yet satisfying

The sushi is good but nothing super special. Maybe my expectations were too highly seeing that they had almost 1000 Unilocal reviews and 4.5 stars average. We came for lunch but didn’t do AYCE. Just ordered rolls because the rolls are 50% off everyday. Also, writing a Unilocal review because they will give you either a free beer, free sake or a free tempura green tea ice cream for a review. You also get a free soda or tea or lemonade for checking in on Unilocal.Complimentary appetizers are also given in the beginning, including cucumbers and fried potato wedges.

Ayce $ 24.95 dinner, $ 19.95 lunch. Check in for a free drink(soda/tea/lemonade) and write a review for a free beer or small sake. I’m sure you know why I’m writing this. As for the food, haven’t tried it yet cause I really could use a free beer after work. Edit: ok tried the food. It’s ayce quality.

5 Stars for our sushi chef Jason. His sushi was impeccable and he paid close attention to detail. He was attentive and very courtesy. I would go back if I’m in the area again and try their AYCE. Last night I ordered the sushi platter and it was just right…6 pieces omakase and some California rolls. Jason even hooked us up with the cutest little sushi balls. Our waiter was a different story, although he was very bubbly he was also very forgetful. He gladly accepted the Unilocal offer for a complimentary drink with check in but never brought me my green tea. Also we asked for a box to take home out leftover food but that never came. We were ready to pay so he took my card without showing me the bill. There’s a check in sheet when you get there but the host still seemed a bit confused about. The area is a bit sketch, there’s a gentleman’s club next door.

This place is so overrated. I drove down 20 minutes to see what the hype was about. The fish is simply mediocre. You’re better off ordering appetizers and deep-fried items – that’s the only thing that they managed, even though the first round of fried items were cold. They must have been sitting out. One of the waitresses(maybe manager/owner) there was determined to get us going after only the first round. She kept insisting to take the menu from us, despite the fact that we intended to order more. When we asked to keep one menu at our table, she gave some sarcastic, condescending sinister laughter. We also ordered wine that should had been chilled. Their rosé and plum wine were warm – eww. As ghetto as it sounds, we had to drink our wine with ice. Their wine glasses were dirty. People probably never order wine there since the waiter did not even know how to open a bottle of wine – but he was nice so I won’t talk bad about him. The communication is terrible. We were informed that all of our rolls had come out, despite our doubts, so we ordered dessert. Shortly after we are done eating dessert, a couple of rolls came out. The wait time was manageable but it is a very small waiting area. The only positive outcome from this place is that the desserts were pretty good. I’ll definitely hand it to their green tea tempura ice cream. Aside from that, this AYCE place needs to get it together. With the rising popularity of AYCE in the region, there are many alternatives.

This is actually my favorite sushi place !! :) I always come here for the 50% rolls because I can’t eat enough to make the AYCE worth it lol. The price and quality is perfect for me. The servers and chefs are friendly and welcoming! The booth seats are also pretty comfortable and the music’s cool! I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

OMG!!! Fantastic prices, yummy sushi, and great service! Clifford is excellent, we felt like Princesses. You have to try the all-you-can-eat-and-drink for $ 34.95. The drinks include sake and beer! Or even the all-you-can-eat for $ 24.95. You can order off their 50% off all sushi rolls menu, and these are full-size rolls!!! :)

REVIEW #100: the best AYCE sushi place in LA/OC. if you look at my reviews, 90% of them are comprised of mediterranean, korean bbq, and sushi places. I’ve spent a good amount of time trolling around for an AYCE place that has good quality fish and tasty rolls. 101 has that and more. the first thing I noticed is the variety of appetizers they have available; everything from salmon collar(yum) to grilled pork belly(yum), tacos(why?) to mozzarella sticks(why?). but it’s nice to have a wide range of things to choose from, especially if you bring kids or that one friend who still refuses to try sushi. WINNERS — ALBACOREKISS, GODZILLAROLL, TIGERROLL, SWEETSHRIMPNIGIRI, GRILLEDPORKBELLY, CHICKEN&ONIONSKEWER(no eel sauce) SKIP — SPICYRICECAKE, BEEFTATAKI, SPICYTUNACRISPYRICE(DOHEARTATTACKINSTEAD) although this place is a few bucks more than a traditional AYCE, they make up for it in quality, more choices, and yes, tempura ice cream or mochi is included at the end of the meal… if you make it that far. they also don’t stuff your roll full of rice, dowse it in sauce to hide bad fish, give you a time limit, or take forever for your food to come out, which are all AYCE pet peeves of mine. it cheapens the experience and customers aren’t dumb. I’ve been here when it’s jammed packed as well as when it’s slow, and everything comes out reasonably quick. the staff is genuinely nice considering how busy this place is, and things move pretty smoothly. here are a couple tips for first timers: 1. ARRIVEATLEASTANHOURBEFORELASTCALL. if the place closes at 10, they do last call at 9:30. if you haven’t had enough time, you’ll get greedy and over-order. 2. TELLYOURWAITERIFYOUWANTTEMPURAICECREAM at last call. mochi is fine, they can serve that whenever. 3. WEEKENDSARETHEBUSIESTTIMESTOGO. I’d recommend going during the week to get an idea of what you like and try different things before you head to the Majors. 4. THEYONLYTAKERESERVATIONSOF6ORMORE. yeah. 5. ADD AYCDrink BEER/SAKE FOR10BUCKSMORE. it’s a good deal, but trust me, you won’t be able to drink as much as you think. still, if you order a beer it’s like 5 bucks, might as well commit.

We came here for dinner pretty late but we were hungry for some food after a long day at the race track. They are strangely located next to a strip club. It’s weird but we didn’t see anything strange so don’t let it deter you from eating at the restaurant. We didn’t have to wait long but I can imagine that there would be a long line if you come during peak hours. One thing I have to note is that their menu is pretty confusing. They have the usual AYCE menu but they also have a deal where you get 50% of all their special rolls. However, they do not note on their menu that it’s not just their special rolls that are 50% off, it’s virtually all of their rolls. As you can imagine, that is a far better deal than getting AYCE considering that their AYCE is $ 25 per person. Between the four of us, we ordered about 9 – 10 rolls. Honestly, we would have ordered A LOT more had we known that it was 50% off everything. But on their menu, they only advertise a certain portion of their rolls are 50% off. We only realized it was everything after we got the bill. I understand why the restaurant would try to hide or mislead their customers but it’s not really cool. Their portions are not on the large side so I think each person could easily pack away 2 – 3 rolls. From what I remember, their salmon was very fresh. I’ll probably order their salmon dishes again. We also enjoyed their spicy tuna but I find spicy tuna to be one of those things that’s very difficult to mess up. My friend really enjoyed their albacore but I’m biased because I’m not a fan of albacore to begin with. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here and will probably be back because the prices are so reasonable. I don’t think it’s worth it to pay the AYCE price when you can just oder off their regular menu for 50% off. Service is absolutely atrocious though so you’re going to be doing A LOT of waving and flagging down waiters. Also don’t bother asking the waiters about their rolls because they don’t know anything about the food they’re serving. Worth a visit if you’re in the area! 4⁄5

The meal started as a 3 star. The beginning of the food was 5 stars. The last 2⁄3 of the meal was –1 star. Total… 2.5 stars. I’ve always enjoyed eating at this ayce joint because they have a unique and large menu selection filled with not-so-typical items such as grilled pork belly, grilled mushrooms, tempura ice cream, tempura shrimp, and so on. Service: hit if you sit near the cash register, semi hit if you sit anywhere near the bar, and miss if you sit in corners or near windows. I was unfortunate and sat near the window both times, and both times it felt like we were invisible to our server. Tip: if it took you 15 minutes to take our order, maybe you shouldn’t come to our table shortly after to profusely warn us that we have a time limit. Even worse, take another 15 minutes for a plate of nigiri to come out. As mentioned earlier, the food started out Great! But after the first round, it was a complete nightmare. We normally only eat nigiri, but resorted to ordering rolls and appetizers to fill up because the nigiri just weren’t coming out. When they did, it was gag-worthy. The yellow tail had tumors and blood in the meat, and they expected us to eat it. The salmon was chewy and we were eating scales. See the haphazard presentation on the photos. DONOTCOMEHEREWHENTHEYAREBUSY. The staff are not ready to accommodate a full house. My friends gave this place one chances and I don’t think that they’ll be back.

First time visiting with my close friends and boy are we happy we chose to come here. Service is awesome and the food is very tasty. Their menu selection for AYCE is really the biggest I have ever seen and such great variety of food to choose from. The service was also top notch even though it was super busy and never did we feel neglected. Everything was prompt and consistently good. I think this is definitely going to be our regular restaurant to visit when we come by this neighborhood. I highly recommend this place for anyone.

The food was OK, but I really just wanted to give 2.5 star. I came here twice with coworkers during lunch break and both times we opted for lunch all you can eat. For the price of $ 19.95(Tuesday buy 3 get 1 free) you get to order 3 rounds of all kinds of rolls. For AYCE you basically can get from all appetizers, rolls, 4 types of desserts, some sashimi rolls(restricted). It doesn’t include sashimi or bento box items. My first time here was actually not bad, the service was prompt and friendly. Their rolls are those typical Americanized Japanese rolls, i.e. rolls drenched in all kinds of sauces, which I personally don’t have problem with. But, I would have to say, my second time here their service was awful. We had a group of ten, for the first round we checked many items on the menu just because we wanted to try everything a lit bit(why not? they look delicious on the menu) and I honestly don’t think we ordered too much. Our waitress(not sure if she was the owner) reminded us that if we couldn’t finish, there would be some kind of punishment. We were like no problem since we had a big group. As the food kept coming, we were slowly getting full and slowed down eating. The waitress kept checking our table, as she took away our plates, every time she warned us «no leftovers or you will be charged». This was definitely something good to know but unpleasant to hear all the time. When we almost finished up the first round, we decided to cancel the rolls they hadn’t cooked. The waitress was like«yeah I told you guys ordered too much food». then she cancelled three rolls for us and we realized those were the more expensive ones on the menu. :( We decided to order second round but just for desserts. The same waitress came to take our order. Before she brought out the desserts, she literally checked all our plates(even flipped over) to see if we hiding anything we didn’t finish. We understand wasting food is no good, but, come on don’t underestimated us. The way she was trying to look for extra charge just made us feel so uncomfortable. Overall, it is an okay place for ayce sushi. But you might not want to come if you don’t have a good estimate of your own appetite.

I owed my friend a date and they decided on ayce sushi. We came here for lunch. It was a decent amount of people on a Saturday afternoon but there was no wait. This place has a pretty big menu and there are pictures. I love seeing what each sushi looks like and able to read the describe of each one. The menu consists of appetizers, salad, skewers, no rice rolls, hand rolls, fresh rolls, baked rolls, tempura rolls and dessert. You order everything off of three sheet of papers. I like it more cause once they finish off of one paper, they return it to you, and you can start ordering again without waiting for all your stuff to be serve. Everything was pretty yummy. There was only two chef making our order, so I thought that it went pretty slow. There was a lot of waiting time, which can be a pro or con if you don’t want to eat too much or have that horrible food coma. Also, we were really sad they ran out of tuna for lunch. Everyone loved that dish and we were surprise that item was sold out. The ratio to everything was good. You didn’t get a overload of rice. I was able to taste every items that was listed. The things I enjoyed here was the tempura. You actually get a standard size order. I did also liked the hand rolls and baked salmon rolls too. For dessert, you can have your pick of unlimited ice cream, cheesecakes, and cream puffs. The ice cream comes in good size scoops and my cheesecakes comes in two pieces. Great options to end the meal. Overall, I enjoyed coming here and would come back again.

What’s the 101 on sushi roll and grill? Eat my sushi and eat my roll, well at least that’s what the sushi chef said. It’s an all you can eat with an extensive menu to choose from and plenty of daily specials. 365 days of the year lunch is $ 14.95 and dinner $ 24.95. For an extra $ 10.00 add an all you can drink if wine, sake and beer. It doesn’t already sound good enough, go with all day everyday special rolls for 50%. Tuesdays are buy 3AYCE& get 1 free and every Wed AYCE + sashimi for $ 34.95. The menu includes several pages of rolls to choose from including the no rice rolls, fresh rolls, tempura rolls and baked rolls. There’s also appetizers, noodles, bento boxes, combinations, specialties, salads, makimono, tempura, sushi, salad and skewers. My top rolls: Sunrise– Salmon, Tuna and spicy tuna Salmon killer– Salmon, spicy tuna with spicy mayo Kiss of fire– Whitefish, spicy tuna and crabmeat As for the quality the sushi was very fresh. The fish to rice ratio was just right and not an overload on any of the sauces. A little bit of confusion between the hostess and the seating availability when we first arrived but afterwards service was on point with the waiter. My first experience was a good one. With so many different items to choose from I’ll be coming back for seconds and maybe thirds. It was worth the short drive from the OC.
