Sleep Train Mattress Centers

Awful! We bought a new mattress for my grandmother who’s moving into a care facility. We were told that we could pay the same price for either a normal or low profile box springs. I explained that I wasn’t sure which height would be better and they said that’s okay.
The bed gets delivered and assembled. The bed is too high and when we called they said we could come get the smaller/​shorter frame for the bed. If we wanted it delivered and assembled they would charge us an extra $ 70. Also if we wanted the low profile it would about another $ 150, when the first time we went they said it would be same whether it was the regular or smaller box springs. Please keep in mind my grandmother can’t see and my grandpa is on crutches.
We show up and I tried explaining the situation to a guy named Brian. I even brought the box springs and the frame with me. He told me that the smaller Box springs isn’t made for the bed we just bought so we never had that option. And he also said that the guy that I spoke to didn’t even exist. That only he (Brian) and H.B. Worked there. This was not a good experience for us at all. He wasn’t even willing to uphold what was told to me. And to go as far too say that the guy I spoke to didn’t exist??? Who was I talking to? A ghost in their store???

We had a great experience here. Kris helped us out and was really cool. We didn’t feel like he was pushing anything on us, but he helped us find the perfect mattress fit for us. Delivery was smooth and early. They did deliver the wrong sized sheets, but going in the store to switch them was quick and painless. We highly suggest checking this store out!

I wish I could recommend this store but I just can’t. We were greeted nicely upon entering the store, but the service was just a little too pushy. I tried to explain I have a back injury & the only way for me to find the right bed in by feel. She kept pushing me to a point I asked her to please give me my space & I would let her know if I needed anything. But she continued to argue a price I paid for a mattress from her desk when I had the receipt on my phone. We just left because I felt she was incredibly pushy & rude beyond belief

5 stars! I had been putting off getting a mattress for awhile but decided it was finally time. We came in with our son and was greeted by Max. He was amazing from the beginning and very knowledgable. I really felt like he was more interested in getting to know us then to sell us a mattress. Completely hassle free. Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had when buying something and dealing with a sales person. He was very accommodating to us and always had such a positive attitude and smile on his face. He made us feel comfortable about spending a large amount of money and we were happy with our overall experience. We ended up getting a king bed and we are thrilled. Today I got a thank you card from Max in the mail and it totally made my day. What an amazing and thoughtful gesture. Mattress discounters and Max are amazing. Customer for life. Thank you Max!!! You’re incredible.

Went in to purchase a new mattress and box spring and the sales woman was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a huge selection of mattresses in all price ranges. Great customer service, great selection and reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?

Best experience shopping for a bed!
We tried Sleep Train first and were turned off by the salesman who acted like a car salesman. When we went to Mattress Discounters we were very pleased with the relaxed, no pressure salesman, Kyle. He is awesome! He helped us decide on our first bed which we tryed and later exchanged for the best bed ever. There was no hassle with the exchange and we are extremely happy with our new Tempurpedic Cloud — love it!

We went to purchase a mattress a few weeks ago. We received the best price around and the salesman was very patient and helpful during our decision making process. Zero problems.
Later, needing a bed for a guest bedroom, I went back to Mattress Discounters. Once again, great service, great deal, and NO DELIVERY CHARGE.

We went in prepared to spend about $ 4000 on a nice Tempur-​Pedic mattress with an adjustable foundation. We had already learned that the manufacturer doesn’t allow retailers to discount the mattresses, so we were looking at the differences in the service and additional perks that they could offer compared to Sleep Train (right next door). The salesman behaved a lot like a car dealer… kind of pushy, and pressing us to close the deal without seeing what the competition would offer. He offered us a discount on the Pro-​Motion foundation plus a couple of pillows and a mattress protector. Not bad… but my wife thought he could do better and said, «That’s not good enough.» The guy went into a huff and snapped, «Fine. Go to Sleep Train, then.» and walked away from us. So we did. Within 20 minutes we had negotiated a better deal with a much more polite sales staff and manager at Sleep Train for the exact same package. The Mattress Discounters salesman and his attitude scored a $ 3600 sale for his competition.
So my advice to you is skip Mattress Discounters and check out Sleep Train.
