WORSTCOMPANYEVER!!! After years of being stuck with horrible service, outrageous fees, horrible technicians. dozens of different excuses and our bill«mysteriously» going up, Fioptics expanded to our neighborhood. We called to cancel today and they actually said«you can only cancel if you are moving to a new address.» HA! Are you kidding me? Good riddance! Stop screwing your customers!!!

I would never do business with them again! When I called to arrange service I gave the rep a list of channels I wanted and she assured me that the package would have them. First the installer showed up without all of the equipment required to to the install, but TWC said they would mail us the boxes needed for the other TVs and the remotes and just setup the DVRs that night. We needed a line added to a room so I showed the installer where the cable would need to be run and pointed out the empty junction box in the wall. He would only need to «fish» the cable into the box. Instead the installer drilled through the carpet and floor ruining the carpet in the process. After hooking up the DVRs he left without checking to see if they worked. We had to call back and have him return that evening. A couple days later I tried to setup to record a show on a channel that I told the sales rep I wanted only to find that I didn’t have that channel. That resulted in another call. After around 10 days we finally receive a package with the boxes for the other TVs only to find out that there were no remotes with them. Another call, and was told that they were returned to them saying the address was wrong. Checking the address with them we found out that somehow TWC had added an apartment number to our address, which they still haven’t taken off after repeated phone calls! We live in a single family house on acreage! Several more weeks go by and we finally get the remotes in the mail only they are the wrong remotes and don’t work with the boxes! Another call to customer service. In the meantime I find out that I still don’t have another channel that I had requested. Another phone call. We set an appointment for a service tech to come out and bring us the correct remotes. Service comes out and for some reason sends a reset code to our DVRs(which had been working fine) and we lose every show we have recorded for the past month! Another phone call. The service tech was scheduled to come out between 9−10am. At 11:17 I call in because they hadn’t showed up and I’m told that the tech tried calling and reported«no contact». This is an outright lie! There were no missed calls to either our home phone number(which is provided by TWC) or my wife’s cell phone. Checking on Verizon’s website also only shows my number calling her this morning. Another phone call. Customer Service Rep does the usual tap dance saying«I’m sorry, we’ll get someone right out there.» I explained to her that it needed to be before 3pm. At 1:57 pm I call back because we had not heard from anyone only to be told that the tech would be there between 3−5pm! That’s it, I’ve had it with TWC. We have paid for service that we have not received!

About once a year my set top box poops out and I need to replace it. I’m not fond of that but I’m very fond of the customer service I get here! They always have the nicest, most helpful people working here. I wish every interaction I had with a business had people that cared this much about my experience!
