They have paper and you need it. They have other office type supplies that you also need. Like ink, for your paper. And pens, also for your paper. And Sharpe’s, you guessed it: for your paper. That you now have. Because you bought it… at Staples. Staples also has staples. Which you never need, because they come in a box of 1 million. It seems. You also need these to put into your paper.

Hmm… where did my review go? I’d been at this store a few times, looking at technology. This was better than the store on the west side of Hamilton, and now that store isn’t open any longer, this store becomes even more useful. I didn’t talk to anyone today, but when I last had discussions with their technology person, he was well-informed, made no snide remarks, and even printed information for me to take with me. Other employees have been friendly in the past, and I would expect them to be that way in the future. It’s what Staples does well. My only complaint about Staples is the pricing. The ink cartridges and other brand name merchandise are more expensive than they are at the alternatives. However, I could practically live and die by their fold-able wooden shelving and that’s been on sale many times. You have to be vigilant in watching for what you want but they will always reward you, whether you have the rewards card or not. Hint – get the rewards card.

I stopped in here for a calculator for a food components test around 1130 and there were just a few customers and about nine employees. The employees I ran into were nice and pointed out where items were. When I got to check out the cashier was nice and offered me a staples reward card, and bagged up my purchase. The thing that hurts this store is location, it’s right off 275 exit and you have to make a sharp turn to get into parking lot. If going on 747, one has to venture through 3 lights to get into staples.

Let me start by saying that I’m always greeted by an employee when I enter this Staples location, and they ask if I need help finding anything. If you are looking for toner, they you will probably need help. Instead of having an aisle with all the toner in one location, they have an aisle of HP toner, an aisle of inkjet toner, and the Brother toner on another aisle altogether. I don’t find the layout of this location very user friendly. When I got ready to check out there were two check out lanes open with cashiers. One cashier was taking a call with a customer for several minutes, and the other cashier was talking with a customer about purchasing an additional warranty on a printer. Just my luck that the customer had a lot of questions about the warranty. So if there are 3 employees standing around talking in the copy and print center(where there are no customers), why aren’t they answering the phone calls and discussing warranty information with customers so the cashiers can cash people out? There were only three other customers in the store, but I stood in line for over seven minutes waiting to check out. I think I’ll do my purchasing online from now on because their easy button just doesn’t work.
