First time, nice people, great food. Rarely have been more satisfied after a meal. All is right with the world.

Regarding the food, Sebastian’s is an old-school, Greek diner with a straight-forward menu. You can’t miss the gigantic skewer of gyro meet rotating in a warmer when you walk in. Alex, the owner, shaves the gyro meat off for orders as they come and then loads the gyro’s up with fresh tomatoes, onion, lettuce and sadziki sauce. Side note, sadziki sauce is a creamy cucumber sauce that is often served with mediterranean food. It is the perfect complement for a savory gyro on a browned pita. Alex seasons his fries and serves them with ketchup. FYI, everything at Sebastian’s is a la carte, so don’t forget to actually order the fries if you want them! You can also order traditional greek food if you’re just not in the mood for a gyro. Alex makes spanikopita(spinach and feta cooked with filo dough), tiropita(feta filled appetizers), and dolmathakia(grape leaves stuffed with rice and ground beef) in house. There are salads for lighter fare, and hot dogs if it’s not a gyro day but you still want some semblance of a sandwich. For the full review, please read my blog post:

Great gyro and fries. Only complaint is the tzatziki is like water and just runs right out of the gyro while you’re eating.

Sebastian’s is just delicious. Gyro meat is always juicy and flavorful with just the right seasonings and the owners are always friendly. Tasty seasoned fries and greek desserts, too! Not necessarily a flashy/trendy place, but they’ve been here for years and still have lines most nights I go in so they’re doing something right! ;)

Definitely a good Gyro. Best in the world, or in town? Maybe, maybe not, but it didn’t really have a stand-out«WOW!» factor that set it higher above average than other Gyro shops. But it was a tasty sandwich. I guess all the glowing reviews made me expect more? Small dining area, a no frills kind of place, and I think you have to go outside and around back to get to the restroom. Family owned and operated. I went all the way across town for it, and would definitely stop by if in the area, but probably won’t make another 32 minute one-way trip any time soon. I’d be a regular if I lived near-by!

I don’t think you can go wrong if you’re in the mood for Greek cuisine. The food was good and the atmosphere inside is exactly what I expected from a neighborhood Greek restaurant. I ordered the gyro, the spanakopita, the dolmathakia, and the baklava. The gyro was pretty good. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad gyro anywhere. The spanakopita was on the thin side but still tasted good. The dolmathakia was outstanding; I love stuffed grape leaves. The baklava was baked perfectly and delicious. I’ll be back soon for more dolmathakia and baklava!

Haven’t been here for almost a year, great food and friendly people. I always stop by when I’m visiting from out of town.

This restaurant was hands-down the best Greek food I have tried in a very very long time the Gyro’s is what I had to eat! The meat was moist and so good the perfect combo for a hungry stomach! It’s cheap $ and filling, if you’re looking for something new or delicious this is definitely the spot to go eat!

Not only was it one of the best gyros I’ve ever had, the staff was over the top friendly. In the best way. Great lunch spot. Might be the best gyro in the city

Sebastian’s is such a west side classic. Simple food. Simple menu. Cash only. Small location. Family owned. Super friendly and delicious gyros. Perfectly seasoned lamb with soft pita. Almost perfect tzatziki — could be a little stronger. A fantastic place to get your Greek food fix!

I’ve heard such great things about Sebastian’s I was excited to try it a few weeks ago when I was Westside. I don’t really get the hype? I mean, the food wasn’t bad, but certainly not better than any other gyro place in the city. The greek salad with gyro was too small for me, while the tzitki sauce lacked flavor(other than creaminess), and the pita bread tasted the same as you’d get at any decent grocery store. Other than the fact this place is cash only, what sets it apart?

We ordered takeout from Sebastian’s while in Cincinnati, my in-laws are regulars here apparently. I ordered a large Greek gyro salad and my husband got a gyro. Those were the only two items that everyone in our party ordered. The large Greek gyro salad was delicious and a good sized portion. I think the small size would’ve been a little too small for me even though I had some leftovers with the large. The salad came with a decent amount of meat and a warm piece of pita bread. The gyro was a normal sized gyro which everyone enjoyed. They gave us a cup full of tzatziki sauce which was a nice addition to the light balsamic dressing on the salad. We liked Sebastian’s a lot and will certainly be returning for more!

Sebastian’s is a Price Hill staple. The place has been around forever and does not appear to have changed in it’s many existing years. I would love to say the gyros are great, but the Greek place at Newport on the Levee serves better ones. I don’t think the spanakopita is great either, despite the rave reviews. However, the tiropita is so good, it makes me feel like crying. The last time I went I ordered a second one to go and barely made it to the car before wolfing it down. It’s really that amazing. Besides the tiropita, I love the atmosphere and service at Sebastian’s. It’s an old dump of a place and the folks who were there are very matter of fact, but at the same time it feels welcoming. Although I do not find myself in Price Hill often these days, I will stop by Sebastian’s for the tiropita every time I’m in that neck of the woods.

This is an adorable authentic little Greek gyro shop with AMAZING tiropitas! Possibly one of the most delicious snacks you will ever eat. They are made with phyllo dough and filled with cream cheese and when you order one he dips it in lamb grease and fries it on the grill pressed with a weight. YUM!!! Gyros are quite good as well.

Sebastian’s is an awesome establishment. I recently came here starving and thirsty after a few intense rounds of lazer tag at scallywag tag. We sat down at a booth and I ordered us gyros and water and at the counter. Less than five minutes later, our food and drinks were delivered to the table. The gyros were delicious and unpretentious; just a huge pile of gyro meat with some tomatoes and onions on top of a warmed pita bread with cold tzatziki sauce on the side. Even my picky 9-year-old brother downed his entire sandwich! My sister wasn’t very hungry so I had planned to just share some of my gyro with her, but the owner had noticed that she didn’t order anything. He decided to give her a generous portion of gyro meat and tzatziki sauce so she could try it too! I’ve never seen any restaurant do this, but I was very impressed with the kindness and attention to detail. Sebastian’s has a small diner feel which I love. The service is definitely friendly and quick, and they were super accommodating to all of our requests. I forgot that they were cash-only but luckily they do have an ATM right by the entrance. If you’re looking for a delicious gyro on the west side, just grab $ 7 and run to Sebastian’s!

No matter how you pronounce gyro, this is the best place to get one on the West side. It’s a small, cash only place — but they did put an ATM in the restaurant which is nice. The food is awesome, the price is spot on and the people are great too. Very glad to see Sebastian’s up, running and successful after all these years. Go try it!
