I’ve only been to the pool here. It’s nice. It’s clean. It’s really cheap to get in. I’d give it five stars, but the hours are awful. Like I don’t want a tax supported community pool that’s only for children, nannies, and stay at home moms. Like kids can go swim in dirty rivers and stuff. They don’t even mind because they’re too dumb to know what germs are. This pool would be a lot nicer if it served the community, not just snot nosed brats. I’m an adult who’d like to go swimming.

This community center is operated by the Cincinnati Recreation Commission and is a place that most of the kids growing up in Mt. Washington spend their time. First off the center offers an after-school program for both Mt. Washington Elementary and for Sands Montessori. The Mt. Washington kids just walk to the center whereas counselors spend time after school with kids at Sands. The building offers many facilities to the community for a very cheap membership. Across the baseball fields and next to the school is the municipal pool and playground called Play City that they operate. Behind the building are tennis courts. They have basketball courts on the outside and several inside the gym. Outside the fence are swings. I spent a lot of time here playing games, tennis, or hanging out with my friends who were in after school care even when I wasn’t. It’s also great for people who can’t afford a gym membership to have somewhere to go and play tennis or basketball.
