OK, as someone from Texas who was recently living in Tennessee the Bourbon pecan chocolate chip May be the best tasting substance on earth. And Graerter’s is about the best ice cream I think I’ve ever had.

Seriously — there’s no ice cream better than Graeter’s. As much as everyone enjoys Creamy Whip… it’s not real ice cream. ;) My personal favorites are raspberry chip(isn’t that everyone’s fav?) and lime sodas(vanilla ice cream with extra lime flavoring and a shot of soda — sort of like a lime float). I love their bittersweet chocolate flavoring too. Okay. I like it all. Bring on the Graeter’s, summer!

We were headed back home to Chicago from Tennessee and had to make a stop in Cincinnati to visit one of the Graeters locations and we picked this one. Service was fantastic and the ice cream was to die for. The many different flavors was awesome. After having an ice cream cone each, we ended up taking a few pints of ice cream home and the employees was kind enough to package our ice cream with some dry ice for the 5 hour drive home. Can’t wait for Graeters to come to Chicago

A nice store. They open at 6:30 a.m., so you may get your morning coffee, baked good, or even get a scoop of ice cream early. The woman behind the counter was friendly. The bathrooms were clean. There were even samples of chocolate chip cookies. My GPS took me to the shopping center right before it. The Graeter’s is located behind the mini golf and yogurt. What keeps this review from being 5 stars is that the ice cream was«sticky.» Those were the words of the woman working there, not mine. For some reason the ice cream was in fact a strange, sticky, and gooey, texture. I have never had Graeter’s Ice Cream that was like that before. Even as it melts, it doesn’t feel like that. Both flavors we tried were like that. While the flavor was 100% Graeter’s, the mouth feel was off putting. It was almost as if the ice cream had been melted and refrozen too many times. I’m not sure if this was a fluke. I really hope it was.

Yes. 5 star. Awesome. The ice cream was amazing. I had the Blackberry with chunks, and I strongly emphasize, CHUNKS, of chocolate swirled throughout. A single scoop was larger than my fist and completely filling. The staff was very friendly. I was asked if I had a frequent buyer number, to which I replied no, and suggested that the clerk use her own if she had one. She said she couldn’t and I told her that I respected and appreciated her integrity. And then I added a couple bucks to the tip jar. The ice cream was so good. I will go here again without hesitation.

This is a nice-sized location. They have ~5 four-top tables for dining in. They also have plenty of floor space for seasonal displays and such. I also like that this location is right next to a mini-golf place and a bowling alley. Makes it an easy spot for a little dessert after a game or two. They have all the great Graeter’s stuff, and its not just ice cream! Their baked goods are delicious, too. Since everyone is mentioning their fav flavors, I’ll throw mine out, too. Raspberry Chocolate Chip is mine. Although Mint Chocolate is also delicious. Their sundaes are a great value, check them out the next time you’re in. Huge portions at good prices.

Some of the best ice cream I have ever had! The mint chocolate chip is to die for… seriously a reason to go out of your way in southern Ohio to get this amazingly delectable dessert.

Graeter’s is a Cincinnati specialty — half ice cream parlor and half bakery — that Oprah revealed as her favorite place to get ice cream on one episode. And while whatever Oprah says doesn’t necessarily go, Graeter’s is second-to-none in the way of deliciously rich ice cream that has unforgettable chocolate«chips» the size of small candy bars. My favorite flavors are mocha chocolate chip and raspberry chocolate chip, and when I couldn’t decide between the two on my last visit, the oh-so-kind gentleman behind the counter gave me a giant«sample» of raspberry after I chose mocha. These flavors aren’t messing around, and unlike other ice cream chains whose only redeeming quality is their variety of toppings, Graeter’s can afford to keep it nice and simple. One of the best things about this particular location in Western Hills is the fact that a woman named Ada has been working there for as long as I can remember; she’s a real sweetheart who’s probably over 80 years-old but who still scoops a killer ice cream cone.
