My friends and I from Columbus come once a year for the past 15 years. We plan a Reds/Golf day and we settled on this course many years ago. Its a quality course we don’t get tired of playing. Located on the NW side of town its easy to get to. 27 holes, we usually play the West/South course. Big practice green and driving range. Club house is big and has decent food/service.

This is the Cincy Rec Commission’s première course and it is just as bit as hard as it is meant to be. Glenview is a true pleasure to play. While yes, it’s not for beginners or duffers, it provides the average to even experienced golfer a lot to chew on. It’s one of the only courses I’ve found in Cincy that actually makes pulling out your driver a matter of necessity and not vanity, and the layout is pretty well designed. Glenview is a pretty course, as well. The club house looks like an old farm with a windmill and is pretty spacious inside. It’s also one of the only rec courses with beer cart girls roaming around, that, of course, only makes things more enjoyable. I have no real problem with Glenview, except for the price. Don’t take me wrong, the price is very fair for the overall quality you are getting. But for an average joe like me, I can only play it once a month or so without breaking the bank. Unless you sign up for Cincy Rec’s email newsletter, you’re plunking down some serious cash to play, especially if you’re taking a cart. I’ve only played Glenview a couple times, so I’ll have to amend my review later on, but I would strongly recommend you plunk down the cash to play if you want to see how good your game is.
