I enjoy dining at First Watch. Thank goodness we used the no wait app because the line was long when we arrived. I really appreciate restaurants that provide a way to get in the queue without being there yet. I ordered the Floridian French toast. It wasn’t their best dish. The energy bowl was excellent. I gave three starts mostly because service was not good. We waited about 7 minutes to place our drink order and another 5 just to get our drinks. Once we got them, refills were challenging.

The food was great, my only reason to not give 5 stars was the service. I had an amazing chicken Dijon salad and Lauren had some awesome cinnamon French toast. But the wait was horrid. And our server took our order and never came back until I motioned him for the check. I hate that. At least order a refill(I needed one) or ask how the food was. I’m not too hard to please bc I was a waitress; but it was just blatant disregard. Yes it was busy but he could have found a second in the 45 – 50 min we were there to stop by. So I’ll try it again, and hopefully it’s great.

I grew up going to this First Watch, so it will always have a special place in my foodie heart. My gramma and I would ride the bus downtown and share the Trifecta. She’d eat the meat and eggs while I took the waffle and blueberry sauce for myself. They’ve now changed the blueberry sauce and it’s not as good as it used to be, so I don’t get that anymore. Nowadays, if I want something sweet I go for a chocolate chip pancake and a banana granola pancake because they’re HUGE, not to mention delicious! But if I’m in the mood to be a bit more healthy, I usually go for one of their omelets with a side salad. The servers are usually friendly and expedient! It can get pretty busy on a Sunday, but not too awful — we had a fifteen minute wait for a party of two around 10a. At least the meters are free before 2p!

Nice menu fare with several healthy options. Fast and hot food. Eggs are hit or miss. Coffee is flavorful, hot and unlimited! Wifi is available, reliable and fast. Conveniently located. Reasonably priced. Will be back.

Feel I need to help the rating. The location convenient downtown, pleasant staff and quaint ambiance. Food was served quickly and hot. The pumpkin pancakes were great. Although I didn’t select the healthiest item on the menu, their menu is diverse and has plenty for the health conscious to select from. When back in town, I would come back!

The food here has always been pretty good tasting she the service is pretty decent as well. Sometimes it can get very packed on the weekends with lines out the door, which although it is good. I wouldn’t say that I’d be willing to wait on line, but I am not much of a waiter in that regard. Definitely worth a try.

I don’t what not to say about this restaurant! The atmosphere was quite charming. The food was delicious that Both of my picky eaters cleared their plates. Whenever we come back through Ohio this is the place for us. Parking is so so but that’s for all downtown restaurants. The staff was wonderful and very polite! A must go to while in downtown Cincinnati!

Be prepared to wait for the food. Service was slow during lunch time. Food was good overall.

One of my favorites for breakfast. Fussy-delicious food from a chain. Friendly atmosphere, yet difficult to find a parking spot that’s close. The«sensational skillets»(oops, they’re called something else now) are so filling. First Watch is the perfect way to balance non-virgin-hangovers.

I absolutely love this place! My friends and I go here after every race we do in the downtown area. If you want a healthy breakfast without the grease and fat, this is the place to go! The parking situation can be tough sometimes but there is a paid lot down 7th st. The staff there is mostly kind and helpful. The last time we were there which was June 30, the hostess had no energy to great us and mumbled the specials. Pep up girl! Our waiters have always been helpful and kind. Yes, there are times it takes them a while to come and get our orders but I don’t mind when this place is always busy. The ambiance is friendly and welcoming. A very comfortable place to be to enjoy a nice breakfast. Not too noisy or too crowded. Just right! The food here is fantastic! My favorites are the omelets. I can never get a good omelette anywhere in cincy and they make it right! They have different varieties and the ingredients are very fresh. I have never been disappointed with food here.

I would probably go here too much if I lived in Cincinnati. I had an incredibly hard time choosing what to eat because everything sounded so good but I ended up getting the market hash which was excellent. They have fresh juices that I think change every so often — I got the kale, cucumber, lemon, apple one and loved it. They had a huge line when we went, but it went really fast, and they text you when you have a table so you can wander around. There’s also coffee out for while you’re waiting.

Food was delicious, service was amazing, as I’ve now come to expect in Cincinnati. I started my day with the Trifecta. A delicious pecan pancake, some turkey sausage, and some eggs. The pancake was fantastically cooked. A little crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. All of the things ordered at our table were met with great reviews.

Spent 3 nights in a rented condo in downtown Cincy for a reunion… we ate here every morning and it was outstanding. None of us(5) had anything less than fabulous and we each ordered something different each morning.

Went there while my parents were here. Seated us immediately and got busy after. We really liked how many healthy options they have on the menu and they give smaller portion of food, which i like so I don’t stuff my face first thing in the morning. I substitute my egg omelette with egg white with no extra cost. Maybe I went with the healthier choice, the food just tasted like a regular simple omelette and nothing special. I still liked it and would go back, but i think four stars would do the justice. PS. The kale detox juice or whatever it was called, a little pricey but oh dear, was that delicious!

Visited on a Saturday morning around 8:45. No wait when we arrived or left(around 10), but restaurant was definitely more full when we left. First watch is pretty consistent. Food is usually fine. Today was no different. Fruit was VERY fresh. Service was adequate. Had to flag down server to ask for water and later for to go cups.

I returned for the lovely Acapulco Express breakfast. Had to take it to-go on this busy Sunday morning. Though I was quoted 15min, it took closer to 25. I didn’t blink an eye — after all, the breakfast is always worth waiting for! — until I got ready to «dig in» and found that all the avocado in my breakfast was black. Every last bit. A sad farewell meal from a place I had really enjoyed in Cincinnati. The coffee and customer service from the front of house was still up to par.

They sat all 16 of us Sunday morning with only a 25 min wait. They had great service and everyone I was with could not believe how good the food was for the price. The only downside us they do not have buttermilk pancakes, they only have wheat ones.

I visited First Watch with two friends for lunch last week. First Watch is known for their amazing breakfast with some lunch options. I had the pesto chicken quinoa bowl, a friend had the cherry chicken quinoa bowl and another friend had the key west crepeggs. The service is quick, but the food was just okay, the pesto chicken quinoa bowl really had no flavor and the pesto was a skimpy sauce drizzled on the dish. They now have a sun e club, where you can receive a free entrée for your birthday and insider scoop, next time I’ll go for breakfast, you can’t go wrong with breakfast at First Watch.
