Critter Control

So, we heard some scratching in the attic. We called Critter Control. They sent a guy over to investigate. He did not look at the entire attic but determined that whatever was up there was gone. He put a trap on the roof (not in the attic) and offered some outrageous prices to repair places where the critter «might» have gotten in. He said he could not determine where it was getting in and applying these «fixes» may or may not even work. So, we declined to give them thousands of dollars for that. If he said he knew they were coming in here or there, surely we would have fixed it but his list of «repairs» smelled like a scam.
A month later, the trap was still empty so he removed it. Now, we still hear the scratching in the attic. In summary, we are out $ 160 and have not resolved this issue.
