Beech Acres Park

I absolutely love this park! The reason I didn’t give five stars is that EVERYONE loves this park, so it’s typically pretty crowded at prime times. Thankfully it’s a good sized park and even in a crowd the kids can still have fun.
The park has a sand pit and multiple play grounds that allow it to be suitable for a large age range. It has swing sets, climbing rocks and even a water area! There are shaded pavilions with picnic tables where you can rest or even hold a birthday party.
Another great feature about this park is their event «Grilled Cheese Wednesdays» in which a truck serving grilled cheese’s and hot dogs shows up and you can purchase lunch for a buck! They have drinks and pretzels too.

Beech Acres is comprised of a parenting center and a park. I honestly know nothing about the parenting center on the Beechmont side, but would like to enlighten about the park that extends from the back all the way to Salem Road.
This park has a really nice pavilion in the center with a stage. The seating is in a half circle with grassy levels. They have concerts and events here during the warm weather.
Towards Salem Road you will find baseball courts, a soccer field, basketball courts, and a pretty nice skate park. The skate park is probably the most well attended attraction there. It features lots of rails to slide down at various angles and several pretty sizable bowls. There is also a small bike or walking trail that goes around it all.
The easiest way to get to more of the park activities is to enter on Salem Road rather than driving through Beechmont. There is a small parking lot next to the church and the skate park.
